Thats because its not a JCW its modified Cooper S. Changed pulley and belt , exhaust, intercooler, throttle body, induction kit, remap.

The turbo is dual scroll, so you get virtually no turbo lag. It kicks in at about 1700 RPM. The new engine is in my opinion is much better, but that doesnt detract from the old ones grumbly character. I'm a huge fan of both.

yeah, i just did my intake and pulley. i love it. one annoying thing though is a whistle at certain throttle with the alta.

No No No No No!!!!! The supercharger sounds better,,,not just my opinion, but out-and-out, full-blown, straight-as-it-comes fact. I drive mine most of the time with the back seats folded down so I can hear the exhaust note, otherwise the sweet blower wistle takes over. Oh, and by the way, bugger the extra couple of cents per Mile!!

Seems slow for 245bhp, I know it's not slow, but doesn't rip through the gears like mine does... and I have the old gear box lol. Was 199whp/235bhp before the manifold...

This Was my Cooper S 2005 Model. It was a supercharger, With GTT 230 Upgrade Plus Milteck Full System and Uprated Cams.

Very reliable kit...

If you have the Turbo S you missed the all point of having the retro look and sound of the 2003~2005 MINI Cooper S. Nevertheless nice vid, you passed all cars before road junction! Cooper S style!
