@TR5T I've heard (not sure about if its really true or not) that the Catholic Church in America is on it's "best behavior" and teaches more about Scripture, the Gospel, faith-based salvation etc here in the U.S. where the Evangelical influence is greater and because it has to compete with active Evangelical Christianity. Away from the U.S. in primarily Catholic countries such as Brazil or Philippines etc it's a different story. People in those places are taught that priests actually absolve you

Questions of a 14 year old can certainly be answered with common sense and the guidance of an adult. There is no need to look to the Bible for common sense issues. The Laws given in the Bible have deeper meanings and are shadows of other things (Heb10:1). Many references of God limit the age of service being 20 years (Exo 30:14, 38:26, Num 1, 14:29, 26:2, 32:11, etc). Scripture specifically addressing the age of entering His instruction at 20 is in the Dead Sea Scrolls, Messianic Rule 1:3-4.
