  • you know I only watch your videos from where I pick up drum fillers. You are like a source of never ending knowledge. Pure talented! Great job man, keep it up!

  • thanks anup! i was gunna go to sleep 2 hours ago and then i stumbled upon your channel and here we are two hours later and im not going to sleep any time soon. hahaha cheers mate!

  • the 21st was my b day so i guess this was your present to me <3

  • i have watch your few cover, all is good . . .

but, i always thinking that there is kind of werid

is it too much compress ?

  • So fucking tight.

    Grats!

  • BOSS cover son!

  • There is really a little different snare drum's pattern, but good job man! :D Keep it up! ;)

  • This is banging.

  • to much treble

  • Awesome!!!

  • I really dig the rapping with the 'djent.' Hard to find groups that stand out it seems.

  • hey anup, for as long as ive been watching you, you've had that wild crash their, and seems like as your main riding crash. how long have u had it for? and have u ever had to replace it due to cracks and stuff? also i really enjoy watching you videos, your one of the few drummers im subscribed too :)

  • @SyqLAWL Hey man! Thanks a lot! Much appreciated. The wild crash in this video is actually my third one in a year and a half I believe? My first one cracked, then the second one I had warped, and this is the third one, which I bought like two weeks ago. I actually practice with cracked cymbals (some which barely make noise), just to conserve my nice cymbals. And I just can't afford to keep replacing cymbals either! hahaha!

  • @asdrummer2008 thats a good idea lol. i always practice with my new cymbals. but anyways, cool dude, thanks for replying, lookin forward to ur next video!

  • Wait what i was to busy throwing snow balls at you (right next to 720p) which is how your shirt got all white

  • i love how the tags says "rap" lol. If all rap sounded this awesome i might actually listen to it.

  • great job Anup, amazing cover once again!

  • @Madvillian01 Thanks a lot man! Much appreciated!

  • well done!!! :)

  • @LittleManGoesBRUTAL Thanks!!!!!

  • Kick ass bro! You know you shred! keep it up! \m/

  • holy shit! NO RED SHIRT!...bahahahaha...awesome cover as usual. Keep it up ANUP! always enjoys the mixes

  • Fuck i love this, hacktivist needs to come out with more shit

  • You make me want to try and make a stack as big as yours. I was thinking of doing it with 16 inch cymbals though not 18 inches. Thats kinda huge.

  • @drumwrist0123 I believe Tomas Haake's stack in comprised of a 19" Paragon Chinese and an 18" crash of some sort.

  • LOVE THIS BAND, so I was super psyched when I say this. :D

  • NO RED SHIRT??!?!?!!?!

  • @kr3w0804 haha, it will be back...

  • Anup, your a great drummer man. What kind of kit is that?

  • where's the red shirt? :D

  • anyone else sick of this djent fad? There are plenty of great and original bands in the scene, but it's way to easy for people to produce, it's the next scene kid thing I fear :/ buy 8 string guitar, write chuggy grooves, program drums. that simple. Nevertheless, Anup, you killed it as always man

  • @adioskaterdude999 Problem with fads is that they become oversaturated, anyone can load up software, write some groove and put drums over it. It's hard to find good djent, but make no mistake, it;'s out there.

  • @egooboi18 that's exactly what I was saying man :/ glad someone else feels me on that.

  • @egooboi18 Skyharbor, Hacktivist, TesseracT, Circles, and Uneven Structure. ^_^

  • @Chartruse5 I know all of those bands :P

  • @egooboi18 I knew you probably knew them. Just using them as example of 'Good' progressive music. :D

  • @adioskaterdude999 Most of the 'djent' scene is just low end guitar with a seemingly random rhythm that loops. Dude, it's becoming as generic as metalcore.

  • @Oli4drums So true. Just like in any genre, there are the copy cat bands that find the easiest ways to fit into the genre. They possess no creativity or originality. I was actually about to post that many of anupsastry's uploads sound alike. Great player, nonetheless.

  • @adioskaterdude999 i could tell you this, djent is complicated in the sense that is unatural compared to what scene kids listen to, its true I'll become a fad but this scene kids wont hav what it takes to create good djent and if they do, theres only going to be a few, djent its not like writing a breakdown, and good djent takes a lot of study and skill.

  • Hey Anup what snare head is that? O:

  • NICE!!! i just found out about this song the other day and you've already covered it. and you did a damn fine job too :D

this song has a fantastic mix of genres

  • Anup you finally played the red out of your shirt!

  • @wormytxx69 No, this was just before he started bleeding out awesomeness.
