  • thumbs up if you seen nets flying by her feet

  • @kailarcr123 What do you mean "nets"????

  • @ralucagymnast the little tiny bugs

  • O_O

  • while watchin this my feet fell asleep

  • im on the crazy side of youtube again ... O.o

  • Chinese men would often steal a foot-bound girls tiny slippers as she slept to ejaculate into them and then place them back so when the girl woke up she would get a nice surprise of goo in her shoe... eeeeks

  • wouldn't it hurt??

  • @littlemissifyable Incredibly. The toes would sometimes fall off, due to tissue death from lack of circulation. The pain was excruciating. The feet would bleed too. The bones in the toes were broken and reset in a totally different position. Horrible.

  • Hello :

Can you tell me where in Malacca is this shop that makes such shoes? If you have the name and address please post it so I can go take a look. I am sure they are not as authentic as they were in the old days but still probably a good souvenir.

    Thanks.

  • and how are implants and exreme dieting different?

  • @hazeleyes0071 implants and extreme dieting is a choice, if someone wants to go through it its their own decision/fault and there's noone else to blame but foot-binding was not optional, they did it to women since they were little

but whoever started it was clearly sick O.O

  • @nievedeuva actually it was a way for women to get a good husband so it was a choice

  • The shoes as souvenirs is in very bad taste in my opinion...

  • i have this strange urge to stick a crowbar in there and crack it back into place.

  • @BroyhillVideo

Well you cannot do that. The reason why is because the bones were broken, then the foot was wrapped in tight bandages. The bones healed that way, so I don't think a crowbar would work here.

  • I saw this on "Ripley's Believe it or Not!" I would have hated being born in China around that time. What they did to those innocent girls was just...wrong.

  • did anyone elses feet tingle after this:/

  • @LezzBu yeah >~<

  • can anyone imagine , breaking the feet of ur baby daughter? just for fashion? FUCKKKKK THAT!

  • So horrifying!

  • feet gives us confidence.. it is where we can stand good proper ways....it is the one holds our most weight...this traditions is so horrifying, It can make someone paralytic...worst breaks bones on the extent!

  • foot binding is SOOOO attractive ...

  • Anyone's else feet feel werid after all this?

  • @Wiintendoh hahaha yes. it kind of like tickles and it makes me want to sit on my feet. xD

  • @samvanzeeland They didn't have kitchen sinks..it was a sign of beauty, wealth, and class.

  • @RoseMeowVEVO You think im that gallible? Woman needs a sink.. otherwise it slowly dies.. i made my wife do the dishes while she gave birth :)

  • @samvanzeeland u r in human animal

  • @samvanzeeland You're an idiot.

  • Me great grandmother died 100yrs oso foot binding i still have many pairs of her shoes in my hse

  • Looking at it today is pretty gross...

  • ouch >.<

  • that seems a bit counter productive for survival...

  • @pojo205 exatly, i don't think these women could even get around or risk falling on their belly when pregnant.

  • What if this was still going in China and spread around the rest of the world? It was to show that a girl could endure for childbirth, strength, honor, and men found tiny feet a huge turn on. They would drink the foot water sometimes for finding it such a turn on. In way it is a horrible, beautiful thing to be hold.

  • @reddracoqueen It was more about men finding helpless (footbinded) women as suitable wives and a turn-on of having power for men. It's also a status symbol like a "trophy wife" that their wives can't work and dont have to because their husbands can afford it. I doubt your idea that women saw it as strenght, even though it was apart of chinese womanhood it was often punishing. Many girls didn't have a choice (young age), they needed a husband and without binded feet you wouldn't get a marriage.

  • @HuggiMa I myself would see it more to remember what women went through and honor their memories, and also to remind us that many women are still suffering all over the world whether it be physically or mentally because of what society deems acceptable or unacceptable. I think it's something we should always be aware of, instead of acting like it never happens.

  • This woman is lucky compared to the rest of the wealthy chinese women that had the bandages on for literally so long the toes were under the feet pointing backwards.

  • men rarely saw the horror under the tiny shoes and slippers..

  • at the start she was wrong. it wasn't only the wealthy chinese girls that did it, literally all did. the poor just didn't change the binding as often as the rich and they usually got family members to do it whereas the rich had speacilist foot binders.

  • The things women do for beauty. Bizarre.

  • @dahveed284 as if they had a choice. if they didnt bind their feet they would not be able to marry off, therefore the girls would be considered worthless and killed. its not for beauty... its for survival.

  • Thumbs up for the new Nike sponsor!

  • it hurts soo bad just to think about it

  • 0:41 to 0:43 look at this foot oh my god

  • she has a nigger's nose

  • @XxAnymeDyminxX And you have a cow's brain my friend. Maybe you can get together!

  • @hai2you2 LMAO i wanted to see how many mean comments i got back =P dont worry im not white O.o

    LMAO

  • omg, i'm bad for laughing with the shoes!! For the women i feel sorry, but if you look at those shoes, my god, they remind me of those funny Simpsons shoes, like Homer Simpson! I always have found that funny when i see something like that in real life! lol, i know, it's silly or dumb... but hé!

  • I'm glad I wasn't born during their time. Most of all I'm glad I wasn't born in China!

  • @MissDumyat Another sandwich?

  • wow

  • I suspect if they were souvenirs of of deforming men they wouldn't sell. We'd read it in our history books under 'Cultural'Atrocities'. But since it's women, ignorant ppl see it as a perversely amusing cultural quirk. I have even heard ppl giggle at the idea. We say we are a 'post feminist society"? Not.

Women need to stand up for gender rights. Oh.. wait.. that's the point.

  • @Alexin1derland No, women should not be going to petty marches for rights, they should be making sandwiches for their men.....

  • ooohh i thought this was a technique in drumming thats why i got here.....damn it!

  • It is so horrible what is done to women for fashion- their necks stretched, feet bound, tight corsets, now high heels that cause all sorts of foot problems and actually reduce blood flow to the pelvis reducing sex drive and creating back problems. I wish men weren't so stupid and loved how women's bodies looked naturally.

  • @MrBlueVeins that is so damn true..

  • @MrBlueVeins cmon now american girls dont need to do that kind of damage to their bodies, hey nobody is forcing the girls to wear high heels but they wear em anyway yeah lol

  • Well.. lucky for her, she lived a long long life.

  • bet that feels good.

  • What was wrong with thesepeople?? yuck

  • The shoes are a work of art ....I have 10 pairs . The cruelty of binding a young girls feet was horrific . When i look at the shoes in my collection , I honor the bravery and beauty of the women who wore those shoes. Many Chinese dont like to speak about the subject .I hold the truth in my collection.

  • EWWWWWWWW

  • ewwwwww i cant imagine that happen to be ouch ;)

  • want my feet done, i hate big feet. they are ugly

  • I WAS EATING!!!!!! EWWWW. the horror! also built in high heals!

  • @MrJoeyjoey1974 You should never eat or drink anything when it comes to watching random videos on youtube.you might choke, spit on your computer screen or lose your appetite...

  • @AngelicAcid453 lucky i didnt........

  • I WAS EATING!!!!!! EWWWW. the horror!

  • owwwwww

  • 3 inches is the size of my ankles

  • Sad that they sell them as souvenirs. Do people really want a shoe that represents girls' pain and suffering sitting on a shelf in their living room? Hmmm...

  • @HuggiMa I Saw on Antique roadshow the shoe with a mummified foot IN IT sold as souvenir

  • @HuggiMa Think of it instead as a reminder of how far women have come.

  • @HuggiMa How about the Christian cross, representing torture, which is found in almost a billion households and jewelry. The word 'cross' is derived from 'excruciate'.

  • @lynxvex Actually the cross can mean multiple things like how Jesus Christ died on the cross to save EVERYONE from sin, hope because we don't have to pay for our sins and Jesus made way for us to go to heaven, and ultimately it can symbolize LOVE for it was the greatest act of love that mankind has ever known. Jesus, coming to us in man in very nature God, lived a perfect and sinless life, died for us sinners. That's true LOVE.

  • @HuggiMa I would since it represents ancient history and culture though it is not pleasing to think about

  • @HuggiMa It helps us to remember the pain so many women went through, and to appreciate that we live in a society where this doesn't take place. At the same time, we can look at current human rights issues we can change, like modern day slavery and poverty.

  • @HuggiMa dont be such uptight assholes...girls suffering is sexy a big turn on

  • @doctormasterdevil wow this is the first time a comment on youtube actually made me truly sick. nice work man.

  • @HuggiMa They are beautiful shoes.

  • if someone did this to my feet when i was a kid i would get them amputated and get prosthetic feet instead

  • I'm literally about to puke.

  • Lol if i had that done i would know where to keep my money if i got mugged :D

  • @CursedByKeres umm.... where, exactly? in you're feet? because believe it or not you had to get your feet flesh removed.... (just saying)

  • THAT IS SOOO STUPID BREAKING LITTLE BABIES FEET?!?!?!?!?!I WOULD NEVER EVER DO THAT!

  • @AnnieandAnna1 we are so lucky, back then you HAD to get your feet bound if you were a woman. yesterday I was learing about China, and we saw bound feet and saw how to do it and learned about this woman. Man, I'm glad I'm not in Ancient China. Women couldn't even walk! :( I feel so bad for them...

  • @UTMR117 i would cry and do whatever i had to do from them breaking my fee- ahhhhhh how did they break there feet???o mg hyperventilation! hyperventilation!

  • @AnnieandAnna1 hmm... I did some research but I'm still not sure. What I found is that they bent the toes and top of the foot downwards and somehow you had to walk while they were bound like that. That broke the toes, so they bent it further and broke them again, they wouldn't let the toes heal. After a couple months the feet would be completely attached to the sole of the foot, then they would remove flesh and put the foot inside of itself for smaller feet. Really sick isn't it?

  • @UTMR117 thank you for telling me but still ew

  • @AnnieandAnna1 yeah, it's sad too. people go WAY too far with trying to look beautiful. corsets, rib removal, tatoos, lip plates, foot binding, makeup, etc. is all used to look beautiful, and sometimes they cause bad results instead of good. either way, it's bad no matter what, even makeup. God made you and everyone else just the way you are, and you're unique, no changing it, or you'll get a spanking. XD last part not true, just don't change.

  • @UTMR117 i feel sorry for them : (

  • @AnnieandAnna1 yeah.... :(

  • @UTMR117 How can you compare wearing makeup with foot binding? Makeup is harmless, isn't permanent and is used for myriad of reasons. It can be art and it can greatly boost a women's confidence. The same can be said for tattoos. Tattoos exist for many reasons and are an art form. Foot binding is excruciating child torture that was a part of horrifyingly oppressive culture where females were viewed as objects with no human rights.

  • @CrimsonOkami Makeup is not harmless. It often contains carcinogens, allergens, and so on. And mentioning tattooing, which is painful, really defeats your own argument there, too. The only part of your argument that I might agree on, is that this was done on children without the ability to consent or dissent. Each to his own on beauty, IMO, so long as it's voluntary. But you don't think women are treated as objects nowadays? Look around again.

  • @AnnieandAnna1 Actually, they broke girls' feet when they were four to seven years old... it was still barbaric and horrifying, but at least they didn't do it to babies. If they did, their feet would so tiny that the women wouldn't have been able to walk at all.

  • @anyjen oh thank god not babies

  • @anyjen

Then again, if they did it to babies, at least these women wouldn't remember the initial procedure.

  • what the hell lmao

  • why...

  • @redbamafan because they wanted their feet to look small and dainty...

..... tsk tsk tsk, chinese.... you've been bad (im not racist)

  • slightly misinformed, but still interesting

  • oh...my....god

  • I bet that isn't comfy.

  • ouch god that is the stupidest thing ever........and i used 2 live in malaysia! hahaha poor women

  • @jessierocks61798 and if you used to live in malaysia ,you know that this is not a malayo culture ... its chinese culture :)

  • MY LAST NAME IS Reuter!!! Keagan Riley Reuter

  • @MKVVClanGamerz ok??

  • @DISCOFACE2 STFU Bitch!

  • @MKVVClanGamerz why should i "shut the fuck up" when your telling us your last name. no one gives a fuck. 'Keagan Riley Reuter'...or should i say Keagan Riley Bitch? Oh. p.s. i like your first name :)
