Many a night last year i looped this song on my iPod and assumed the role of the dreaded melancholic 'victim' of unrequited love with tear-streaked face. Too fitting to indulge really. lol 'I only ever lie to make you smile. All kinds of dust are gonna keep me satisfied' & 'you won't have to say that you love to, but baby please that you want to someday.' This year i'm over it. Can't help but acknowledge Interpol and music in general help. Even if it's in cliche scenes here and there :)

Really..... ALL OF THEIR ALBUMS ARE GREAT!!! I've literally listened to every song from Public Pervert to song seven to Mind over time to The Lighthouse, and every single one of them are just fantastic. Like in antics take you on a cruise and A time to be so small are just so Imaginative to the cause of love. TOTBL has Say Hello to the Angels, Obstacle 2, and Roland that make that harder sound with a heavier noise that makes interpol not just some band singing about love and drug abuse.

And we have the new album, which I guess is just called Interpol, and in this album they just make this new darker sound and mix it with just pure brilliance. And for people who havnt heard, Paul banks made a solo album, julian plenti, it's more rock than Indie-Rock but still AMAZING!

In my opinion, no music is garbage unless if it expresses emotion and imagination

into the listener's ears. Rap is music, but it expresses different emotions than this type

of music. Rap is repetitive and to me it expresses disrespect against woman and

takes the use of coarse language and abuses it for no apparent reason. Rap barely has

any effort put into than the rock groups today that play their heart out.

I do love all their albums and I thought the best of the bunch was always ''Turn on the bright lights''....but man, last album is a piece of an excellence, I cannot stop listening and i feel like I am travelling to somewhere i dont know each time i listen!!! Turn on the bright lights made me feel like this years ago, but the last album shows how sophisticated they are... I love their dark sides.
