Sometimes i wander why isn't there a Zone for us, half mad, broken people who would do just about everything to leave the outside world behind.
Look at the book: Roadside picnic, the movie: Stalker or the Stalker games. They always discribe the Stalkers as hopeless, broken people who had enough of the world and looking for a different place where they can live a different life.
I'm talking serious, this isn't fair that only those boring sucessful people can enjoy what they think it's enjoyable
@Kicsur you mean they never was a zone? or that its in effect? well in either case, the '86 incident would have consumed Pripyat. i found Pripyat on google maps and saw the city as if there was no zone; people here and there, moving cars on the streets. you name it. bleh, if there was no anything involved with the zone, then what could this mean?
@Kicsur There's truth in the Stalker movie and Roadside Picnic. In particular it resembles the difficult life in former soviet countries... - our countries. In fact we often resort to philosophy to understand the meaning of this, not everyone of course gets there, and those with a weak mind often just can't survive. It's not about getting killed either... More on a philosophical level - failing to find a job, personal problems, poor salaries etc.
This soundtrack perfectly conveys image to sound.

@Kicsur Also wanted to add that the problems caused on a philosophical level are more like consequences ;)
