Just for reference Jimmy Howard did not start this game, W-L-OTL 32-11-1SV% .924GAA 2.03 SO 5. Ty Coklin did, and he been pulled his last 2 starts. He's been replaced by a goalie from the AHL. Howard broke his finger, after a win in Vancouver, but when he came into the came he let up only 2 goals. If he started the game it would of been a different story.

a win like that can be EXTREMELY important for a team pushing to make the playoffs. beating first place 7-2 just before the allstar break, and they have a week to think about it and rest. by the time they play again they will be healed, canfident and ready to give it there all for a final push for a playoff spot. the question is: will it be enough

@FadedIraqi Habs are a lot better team then you think...this team just made it to the Conference Finals couple years ago, we've had so many injuries this season and with the worst PP we're still only -4 and 8 points out, also we haven't seen Markov play 1 game and look at the way you guys played without Lidstrom. Habs would be in the playoffs right now if we didn't blow so many 2 goal leads in the 3rd period! this is just a bad season for us, but we have seen 7 goal games 3 times now
