@fineguyusa Check out Car and Driver's website. They did an * Suv comparison test and because of our "sh awd" with the torque vectoring rear diff., we achieved higher cornering "g's" than the X5.
Thanks for this review - nicely done! My wife is considering a new vehicle, and after sitting in the MDX at a recent auto show (Harrisburg, PA), she wants to take a test drive. I owned two Hondas in the past, and though we're Subaru die-hards, I'm very open to her trying or owning an MDX. Any comments on the differences between the 2009 and 2010? Looking for a pro salesperson's opinion.

All wheel drive system in Acura MDX does not compete with subarus fierce all-wheel drive system. Hands down!! Plus the acura mdx has an unbalanced drive system creating torque steer. A novice drivers worst nitghtmare!
@MrDenimdan The Subaru has an excellent awd system, however its not as advanced as Acura's system. Only the MDX and the new BMW X6 have torque vectoring rear axles as standard equipment. This enhances safety and dry weather performance. Please do your homework before making inaccurate statements.
i agree completely Mr. Miller. I love your videos by the way. It's hard to find videos about each car from my favorite luxury car brand that take the time to really go in-depth and break everything down. I really appreciate it. I'm also hoping and looking forward to a video about the new ZDX soon.
Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully these videos give people additional insight that may help in their buying decision, and you can bet the ZDX will be here on or around Dec. 10th.
Every car has it's own great features. However, notice Mr. miller never mentions safety in his interview with any of the features of Acura. Tribeca has better fuel economy plus passed all 4 categories in safety crash rating and is much cheaper!
I feel the same way as you, you've got to be an idiot to not wear a seatbelt. I know its difficult to see, but I did wear my seatbelt. All Acura's with the Tech. pkg have this annoying voice that tells you to "please wear your seatbelt". You'll notice not once did you hear that reminder during the test drive.
that car is dope

If that was 80 mph, that truck was going 75.

Nice presentation. Some sales people are too lazy to put the effort in. I'd give this car a second look.

@Siper2 Its a great vehicle!!!! I own a 07 TL type S and I love it but will be getting a MDX real soon. Drives well

@Siper2 This might be a little late but here are the differences between the 2009 and 2010
1) 2010 has the new front fascia, and has better, more expensive looking bumpers
2) 2010 has a 6 speed, while before it was only 5 speeds
3) New rectangular tailpipes, the 2009 had oval tailpipes
4) It now has shift paddles on the steering wheel for manual mode, as opposed to the shift lever
There are more differences, but those are off the top of my head..

@MrDenimdan The Acura brand is the only and repeat only manufacturer the has acheived a "top pick" safety rating from the iihs, please look it up.

Dumb ass look at it carefully he is wearin' his seatbelt

I found your video VERY INFORMATIVE and helpful. All I wanted to know was whether the car was smooth and you clearly showed that for me.
Why someone would give a damn about your seatbelt is beyond me?
GOOD JOB!
