In the books, shouldn't there be friction between Kahlan and Cara solely because of their status? I mean, they're only connected to the Seeker due to being the Mother Confessor (and wife) and because of her apparently devout loyalty to the heir to the Rahl throne, respectively.

When they first meet I suppose they're a little skeptical of each other, but when they realize that they both have the same cause they become very close. I think they're also close because Kahlan understands the torture that Cara endured to become a Mordsith and realizes that the fault is not hers, but Darken Rahls'.

In TV, Kahlan (and Dennee herself, of course, ironically) never forgives Cara for killing Dennee, but that's expected. Dennee came back several times (the episode of male Confessors, which came up again several times in the series) and where she comes back to life (sole major event was Denna stealing Compass). Cara killing her was to give foil against Kahlan. The question is if it was too far.

She gives birth to a son, and later escapes to a remote island, where Cara kills her.

I meant the Compass to the Stone of Tears. Obviously Dennee coming back to life was not present in the books.

By ritual, he needs to drown him in holy water. If you're gonna have to kill him...yeah. Richard manages to talk him out of doing it, but ultimately, Dennee couldn't have him alive, and he was drowned in the end (offscreen).

Can't remember the scene of Cara being on the island, but she admitted it 3rd episode, 2nd season or such, can't remember. Think Kahlan didn't even know Dennee was dead at this point.

Huh, well I have yet to write the books. The Compass was meant to direct Richard straight to the Stone of Tears. The finale was incredibly complicated, but it ended with Zedd in an alternate reality.

Rachael made her one appearence. In the finale, she reappeared as a small plot device where she got killed by the Sisters of the Dark for her magic (or her lack of thereof) in an alternate reality.

In her first appearance, Rachel, yeah...got a Box of Orden. Then she was adopted by Martha, a chef for Princess Violet (the main characters stole some jewels for Martha, I believe, for her to support Rachel). Rachel's family had been slaughtered by Milena's army.

She later appears in the first episode of Season 2 as a cameo.

Following the theft of the Box, Rahl kills Milena. Violet is assumed to succeed her and is not seen again.

Her family was not supposed to have been slaughtered by Milena's army! And RICHARD is supposed to kill Milena, i think, not Rahl!

Nyeh, Rachel doesn't have much significance other than giving Richard a Box of Orden. And plus, it was Zedd who gave her the talking doll and told her to smuggle the Box outside, not Gillian.

Milena invaded Rachel's town to steal "a pearl as large as a pumpkin seed." Rachel was the sole survivor of her family, and naturally, was taken in as a slave.

Richard would NEVER kill Milena...she's too frail. It was Denna who originally taken out Milena, and Violet ascended naturally.

I believe in the books she continues on to be a reoccuring antagonist? Does Richard kill her??

And like I said, Rachel helps smuggle a Box and that's all the significance she does.

and later he got killed from Rahl

and the Queen was killed (in the books) through Richard but at that time he was dennas pet (btw in the books he's way longer her slave, not just a day)

In the books Rachel is also adopted later by Chase

that all happens in the first book u should read it

Harry Potter? I think generally the movies and books are similar as far as film adaptations go, but I didn't really like the fourth movie. That's all I watched up to.

As for Denna, I thought Kahlan's brown hair in the sun looked fairly blond. Yeah, all of them wear their hair like that, which makes them a little indistinguishable. I just thought it was likely Zedd changed her face, too...

Lol, I have always thought SOT/LOtS was based a LOT off Legend of Zelda.

The franchise as a whole, I believe, is very fantastic. Favourite character...uh...I'm not sure, but I really liked the minor character Mina from the "Walter" episode.

Well...this show received overall mixed reviews. I liked it, though.

If more people advocate, it's a strong possibility third season would go on. Of course, they're a little limited to how much Terry Goodkind writes.

OK, that's NOT how I know about Confession. From what I know, it doesn't have to be direct skin contact and it's automatic (or maybe Josephine somehow fufilled the conditions). But from what I know so far, it has to be eye contact too.
