Anyone that tries to compare a ferrari to a mustang is an idiot. It doesn't matter if your mustang can beat a ferrari on a drag strip, the ferrari will destroy any mustang in cornering which most people will tell you is real racing. I won't even go into the luxury appeal of a ferrari and how insanely more detailed and technologically advanced it is than a mustang. Oh and if you want to talk crap, I own a 03 cobra, so I know all about mustang's and love them.

mustangs are overrated. lets compare models: you've got your old 4 cylinder mustangs that look like an escort.. then you've got your gutless v6 mustangs that can barely shake a geo metro, then you've got your v8 mustangs, barely faster than a miata and driven by idiots who think that because its loud, its fast

and all (except Roush) handle like a 1972 GMC Pickup truck. theyre ok cars, but I wouldnt go back to one after having a Porsche

@DThaeman umm lets see here..... old v6 mustangs yes are not that great. i owned one. loved it but no its not that fast. gt's? well i own a gt bone stock and have walked multiple cars such as an rx'7 with boost. oh and ive taken it on turns at 125 mph. all stock mind you. not my fault you cant drive for shit and need a $95k car to be able to keep up.

The '03, and '04 Cobras wernt nick-named Terminator for nothing. If you beat one even in stock form you have a car worth talking about. Ferrari is over-rated, the money spent on even one of the cheaper ones, could be put towards a pretty quick Mustang, or any Domestic Muscle car. Fast cars come in all forms, but theres nothing like that rush you get from a Muscle Car.

lol muscle cars were built to go straight, im a muscle head, but i would agree with you that italian cars pick apart american cars quality wise and on turns, although im surprised the viper srt10 acr got the quickest time for factory cars on the nurburgring. american cars arent built with the finest leather, and dont have sleek looks, but they go fast in a straight line! its america with redlight racing, not sharp crazy ass turns like europe :] but you got to give credit to both kinds of cars.
