My theory for adam not winning, is because people found out that he was gay so they became ass's and started voting for kris! He could have toned it down a bit. but he stayed true to himself. Secondly, He chose the wrong song to do for his second choice...Mad World was not a winning song. Ring of Fire, regardless of the reviews, actually showed what he can do...in my opinion would have been better, but who really knows anyway...(side note: the studio version of ring of fire sucks. they took out all the good parts and made it boring.........)

As I said before...i didn't like Adams voice. It is crystal clear...but very feminine. He reminds me of the guy from "Step Brothers"...when they are singing ,Sweet child Of Mine, "I CAN SING HI-III-III-GH". There are just too many videos were Adam goes "DIVA" mode or over-the-top with Christina Aguilera type singing. There are many non-christains that dislike gays or anybody different. We learn it from the school-yards to treat people different....not so much in church...if you compare the two.
Honestly I think AI lied. Kris winning got people talking and negative talk is still a good thing in Hollywood. Something is VERY fishy here. I want to see the numbers before i ever believe Kris won. He's a great guy, very nice and I am so glad it was him over Danny Gokey but talent wise Adam is the true winner. We'll see come fall and when the albums come out. The US is getting closer to being able to accept openly gay people, but there are still parts that aren't. I can understand your theory and while I do think some people voted for Kris based on his beliefs I don't believe that is why he won. I think Kris and Danny share a closer style in genre than do Danny and Adam. So, it's only natural that many Danny fans would vote for Kris because they have a more similiar singing style. However, I also know many Danny fans who voted for Adam after he was eliminated. So, it's all up for interpretation. I think people just need to let it go and move on. Adam has.

The proof is in the pudding. Adam's official site never has fewer than 200 people logged on at any given time while Kris' at times barely has 40. Adam's a star and while Kris is sweet and very talented he's not the least bit original. Heartless was reworked by the Fray. Adam on th eother hand completely changed Tracks of My Tears and If I can't have you and turn them into completely new and fresh songs. Not to mention his Whole Lotta Love performance which was the stuff of rock god land
You obviously haven't heard The Fray's version of Heartless, it sounds nothing like the one Kris did. She Works ?Hard for the Money, To Make You Feel My Love, and Ain't no Sunshine were all completely original as well. If you prefer Adam that's fine, but to say Kris wasn't original is completely ludicras.

And I do agree, Danny's voters most likely went over to Kris. Also it might have had something to do with the fact that the judges constantly said that Adam was the front runner of the whole season, and he "over shadowed" everyone else including Kris, and people love to vote for the underdog.
But, even though I was kind of mad that Adam didn't win over Kris, I've gotten over it and I wish all the best to Kris.

Adam should have one outright on this voice alone. But Adam could not play an instrument. Kris could do both, but his voice was limited to Adam's. Kris will be forgotton in time, however Adam will live on much longer despite him coming second. As for the Sabotage, many had hoped Adam had it in the bag, but people change their minds quickly at the last minute, so bad luck on the night and it's know that telephone votes are rigged! I seriously doubt that. Where are your sources? I've never heard this. Besides, anyone with a computer and a modem can have their own speed dialer, it doesn't take AT&T to speed dial. I'm inclined to believe this is fabricated hearsay.

There are clear indications that the vote has been manipulated on multiple occasions. With that said, this seems to be a case of a split vote (Danny & Chris's fans) coming together to support a similar style contestant. Neither of them have any commercial viability. Outside of AI fans, no one is going to buy their music. The "rocker" label is comical. Adam will get no mainstream (or alternative) rock traction. Most searched doesn't = platinum records.

Where do you people get your information. I guess you are referring to the concert at UCA during the hometown visit. The place only seats 2000 and people were lined up 8-10 hours ahead of time to get tickets. Earlier in the day he performed in front of 18,000 in Little Rock. After the UCA concert he performed in downtown Conway in front of 20-25,000 . His hometown visit was the most attended in the history of Idol. Please, don't post without checking facts, otherwise you only show ignorance.

Love the video and I agree with your insight. Adam has already proven he will be more successful than Chris. If it were not for Adam, Chris wouldn't even be a topic now. I'm a 51 year old republic christian conservative and an Adam fan. Don't refer to us as wanting Adam to lose. I know 2 other people who share my beliefs who also voted for Adam. I called for 5 hours (3 on my NY cellphone, 2 on my California cellphone) for Adam to win on the final competition and one of the others, 3 hours. We're angry Adam didn't win due to the sabotage that took place in Arkansas. At the end of the show it warns, block voting like that will be eliminated. What happened?
2 problems with your opinion, 1 - Thats why there are various radito stations playing many different types of music, do you listen to all of them, all the time? 2 - People on the radio usually perform on stage as well, they make more off their live shows than they do their record sales.. didnt you know that?

My point is that is that it makes sense that Kris won because he is more along the lines of what people look for in an "American Idol", down to earth, real, all-american, top 40.. blah blah blah. Adam isn't being persued by the top record companies, he's under contract with 19E for at least a year. It's easy to post lies and unchecked facts when you aren't held accountable for what you say.
The reason Kris is outselling Adam on Itunes currently is because he won.. had the reverse happened Adam would have outsold Kris, doesnt take a genius to figure that out.. people jump on bandwagons.. they think "Oh Kris won, better get that new single!" Itunes isnt the final judge on record sales, its one portion of it. It comes down to consumer type and illegal downloads. If you search you will find most of the studio versions can be found free illegally online, thats not counted by itunes.

I totally love Adam, his music, & the personality he presents to the world - I voted more than 900 times for him, on the finale, so I'm pretty pissed he didn't win - I agree with you, about how it must've gone down. But, he's doing well now - WWFM has gone platinum, and the 3 of them (Adam, Kris, & Allison) are all doing relatively well - love all 3. (That AMA controversy was ridiculous)

He could have toned it down a bit. but he stayed true to himself. Secondly, He chose the wrong song to do for his second choice...Mad World was not a winning song. Ring of Fire, regardless of the reviews, actually showed what he can do...in my opinion would have been better, but who really knows anyway...(side note: the studio version of ring of fire sucks. they took out all the good parts and made it boring.........)

Adam Lambert would make a GREAT female impersonator, he could do Liza Mannelli, without too much make up change. His body reminds me of a 45 year old Jewish Dentist, spare tire middle, love handles, big wide fat lady behind.. He has horrible skin and bad hair. His high notes come from being hormonally imbalanced, NOT from being a great singer. He ACTS like a Rocker, but is not a rocker. As I said before...i didn't like Adams voice. It is crystal clear...but very feminine. He reminds me of the guy from "Step Brothers"...when they are singing ,Sweet child Of Mine, "I CAN SING HI-III-III-GH". There are just too many videos were Adam goes "DIVA" mode or over-the-top with Christina Aguilera type singing. There are many non-christains that dislike gays or anybody different. Honestly I think AI lied. Kris winning got people talking and negative talk is still a good thing in Hollywood. Something is VERY fishy here. I want to see the numbers before i ever believe Kris won. He's a great guy, very nice and I am so glad it was him over Danny Gokey but talent wise Adam is the true winner. We'll see come fall and when the albums come out. I'm not angry/bitter just very skeptical.

I can understand your theory and while I do think some people voted for Kris based on his beliefs I don't believe that is why he won. I think Kris and Danny share a closer style in genre than do Danny and Adam. So, it's only natural that many Danny fans would vote for Kris because they have a more similiar singing style. However, I also know many Danny fans who voted for Adam after he was eliminated. So, it's all up for interpretation. I think people just need to let it go and move on. Adam has.

The proof is in the pudding. Adam's official site never has fewer than 200 people logged on at any given time while Kris' at times barely has 40. Adam's a star and while Kris is sweet and very talented he's not the least bit original. Heartless was reworked by the Fray. Adam on th eother hand completely changed Tracks of My Tears and If I can't have you and turn them into completely new and fresh songs. Not to mention his Whole Lotta Love performance which was the stuff of rock god land

And I do agree, Danny's voters most likely went over to Kris. Also it might have had something to do with the fact that the judges constantly said that Adam was the front runner of the whole season, and he "over shadowed" everyone else including Kris, and people love to vote for the underdog.

My favorite was Danny and when Danny was eliminated I didn't watch or vote after that. I had nothing to do with that. It doesn't matter if Adam did or did not get chosen, people that liked Adam will buy his music.

Adam should have one outright on this voice alone. But Adam could not play an instrument. Kris could do both, but his voice was limited to Adam's. Kris will be forgotton in time, however Adam will live on much longer despite him coming second. As for the Sabotage, many had hoped Adam had it in the bag, but people change their minds quickly at the last minute, so bad luck on the night and it's know that telephone votes are rigged! There are clear indications that the vote has been manipulated on multiple occasions. With that said, this seems to be a case of a split vote (Danny & Chris's fans) coming together to support a similar style contestant. Neither of them have any commercial viability. Outside of AI fans, no one is going to buy their music. The "rocker" label is comical. Adam will get no mainstream (or alternative) rock traction. Most searched doesn't = platinum records.

Where do you people get your information. I guess you are referring to the concert at UCA during the hometown visit. The place only seats 2000 and people were lined up 8-10 hours ahead of time to get tickets. Earlier in the day he performed in front of 18,000 in Little Rock. After the UCA concert he performed in downtown Conway in front of 20-25,000 . His hometown visit was the most attended in the history of Idol. Please, don't post without checking facts, otherwise you only show ignorance.

F.Y.I. The population of Arkansas is 2.8 million. 38 Million votes came from Arkansas. That equals approximately 10 votes per person (if everyone voted). ATT's "tutoring" and booth set-up for that event allowed people to power text ten votes with the push of one button. That adds up, doesn't it? That's OK Adam will have the last laugh. I'm a 51 year old republic christian conservative and an Adam fan. Don't refer to us as wanting Adam to lose. I know 2 other people who share my beliefs who also voted for Adam. I called for 5 hours (3 on my NY cellphone, 2 on my California cellphone) for Adam to win on the final competition and one of the others, 3 hours. We're angry Adam didn't win due to the sabotage that took place in Arkansas. At the end of the show it warns, block voting like that will be eliminated. What happened?

My point is that is that it makes sense that Kris won because he is more along the lines of what people look for in an "American Idol", down to earth, real, all-american, top 40.. blah blah blah. I'm not saying he was the most vocally talented but he definitely deserves the title of American Idol ... well I don't think hes going to do very well.... the only ones from the show whose careers are worth noting are Kelly, Carrie, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry, and Jordin Sparks.... I may be missing a few but overrall... most contestants don't do very well afterwards... remember Bo Bice? Justin Guarini? The beatboxing guy that came second place when Jordin won? Katherine McPhee? Usually the runnner up just doesn't do well...

None of those even come close to the popularity platform that Adam has achieved. He has had more spots on TV and radio than Kris has, double the spots matter of fact. He has been asked to tour with Queen and do spots in movies already, I think you are comparing him to other contestants that arent anything like what he is. Did you do your research? He has been named as single-handedly saving the show in ratings this season. Being on Idol doesnt give anyone THAT much credit.

I disagree, but I respect your ideas. You are right about the runners up in past years, but Adam's talent is exceptional. He is already being sort out by the top record companies and people all over the world are downloading his songs and making a playlist so they can enjoy him until his first cd comes out. Adam attracts multi-generations, I am a 51 year old fan, my daughter, a 20 year old fan. I like his broadway songs, daughter likes Queen and his newer stuff. He's a winner!!

The reason Kris is outselling Adam on Itunes currently is because he won.. had the reverse happened Adam would have outsold Kris, doesnt take a genius to figure that out.. people jump on bandwagons.. they think "Oh Kris won, better get that new single!" Itunes isnt the final judge on record sales, its one portion of it. It comes down to consumer type and illegal downloads. If you search you will find most of the studio versions can be found free illegally online, thats not counted by itunes.

First off its not just the new single, Heartless has been ahead of anything Adam has done since sales became public. Secondly I'm sure you would not buy something just because someone won.
