my obsolete favorites are @ 1:17 and 1:25 Brilliant design must be so awesome just to seat back and speed up on this type of bikes so low to the ground it feels safer but ware long sleeve t shirts..in case of road rash lol

A vertical up and down pedaling bike at the start of this vid - perfect for out of the saddle climbing lol. I thought of a recumbent go-kart with a similar method - two belt being pulled around two freewheel pulleys by pushing with your legs. You could wind in more belt on the pulley to get a wider diameter and hence a lower gear ratio.

So... that unicycle (Not even a bike!) is strange because it has a carbon fiber wheel? If it's the handlebars, that's not strange at all... many unicyclists use handlebars. I, personally, completely disagree with the title of the video. I would hardly consider ANY bicycle strange, as had it been the original model for a bike, and the one that had stuck, (current) standard bicycles would be strange now. Why not just call it "Bicycles."

haha when doing a classtrip me and my classmates rode one of these at 2:33 was cool we had like a piknic on the table in the middle and speeded down the village almost falling over^^ the place where we rented those also had a bike as small as a 20" tire and one that steers in the opposite direction and where you have to push the pedals backwards

Thanks for your comments zzzzommmggg, I agree with you. Recumbents ae not stange but here in México getting a recumbent is almost impossible, we have tried to buy a recumbent for 3 years and people think that we´re mad. Recumbens ar the best bikes for the freeway and streets.
