Are you serious? use salt, to clean it? i asked the guy whats the best thing to clean it, most Qualified Piercers have a cleaning solution, to get my brow done, cost me, £23, around $40-$45 in America,To get the cleaning solution, cost me £4 Equivalent to $7-8, using this stuff, is far better, yet reliable, so IF your getting it done, Dont ask if it hurts,everyones different,which means, everyone can handle different amount of pain...always ask if the person thats doing it, if he has a licence

@Southendaa AND also, No, they dont numb it, a decent Piercer will clamp it, they dont numb your eyebrow anymore, due to the fact its to near your eye, and the stuff they use to numb it, could possible, freeze your eye, and make you blind, also, when you've got it done,dont use Frozen peas or anything frozen, to try take the swelling down, it will make things worse. just leave it as it is, and in a few days, all will be fine. if anything goes wrong within 6 weeks, go back and ask to see someone

@Southendaa The sea salt works very well actually. I've used it on most of my piercings. Usually a cleaning solution is only sea salt solution. For example H2Ocean is for piercings and is sold at Hot Topic for $15 and all it is is sea salt and it's very easy to make the solution yourself. By buying these expensive solutions from piercing shops, you're only wasting your money.

Profecional piercings are NOT allowed to Numb any part that you are getting pierced they dont have liance to do so.. so if they numb piercings dont go it.. It can affect the piercing healing prosess.

@lifeofafox Yeah, I got mine done on Sunday and all she did was clean the area before she put the needle in. In my opinion though, the numbing really isn't necessary. It barely felt like a pinch for me, but like you said the pain varies from person to person and probably depends on how experienced the piercer is.

Well if you are hiding it under a fringe(or bangs if you prefer) try to tie it back when at home and stuff so it can breathe.

mine bleed a bit. Not alot, but everyone is different. Don't take any pain relievers (Some can thin your blood) a few days before, but it's general might bleed. Hasn't been infected in two months, but there are the little crusties now and then.

do you have to clean it when u get it morning and night or if you keep it in all the time (barbell) will it be fine ? and can u take out a barbell..like are the balls at the end able to screw in ?

When you first get it I would say clear it three times again but yes in the morning and before bed (even with a barbell).

I wouldn't take it out until it has fully healed and even then they can heal fast so be quick but make sure you are clear.

Yes the balls are a barbell can be screwed off and you can get different ends to change it with.

Touching it will make it swell, btw. And it can hurt if it swells alot... But leave the balls on or change them, but never go without them. The threads will HURT if they catch on the inside.
