Shades Case Review

Nice review. If you go on amazon.com and find a shades case, the pic shows a beautiful vibrant color on the iPod. That's how it would look like on a white iPod not a black that most people have. Just to let you all know, don't expect a vibrant color if u have a black iPod.

i think that case is cool, even tho not much protection. i just bought a "Griffen" case for my iPod touch. i got at radio shack and it came with 2 cases, black & gray, and red &black. i love the griffins ones alot

i agree... not everyone is super careful with their ipod touch, and unexpected things like getting drunk and it flying around makes a cover or case necessary. There's nothing wrong with taking precautions - plus its a neat way to customize your ipod to how you like it.

I don't recommend spending money on cases.The iPod Touch is designed by Apple to be durable and used as it is.I've had mine for 2 1/2 months without any protection and its fine. No scratches on screen. The screen is literally scratchproof(u don't need a screen protector)but the back scratches easily. As long as u don't drop it you're fine.Why would Apple make an iPod TOUCH which has a scratchable screen?Sounds stupid. And why should u give a crap about the back?

Not true I had mine like a month and it has a little scratch on it. I got drunk at a party it was in my pocket with keys, and came out with a scratch. I recommend a screen protector. I have not had another scratch, and mine is not protected, but I wish it had a covering.

Yeah, I see your point. But I don't get drunk, and I don't put anything that could scratch my iPod in my pocket. As long as you are careful, you're fine without a case. I personally don't like cases; bulky and uncomfortable. But as jea727 mentioned, anything can happen. Thanks.

you've seen too many casses that are crap, alot of cases aren't really bulky and can protect your ipod touch, , also I've seen MANY people with scratched ipods, the back especially, if you take care of your ipod dearly then nothing will go wrong but we're all not mister protective and if we want to be 99% sure nothing will happen, why not spend the 15-20 bucks on some case?

Thia case is the shiznit with the ipod touch, and all other ipod models. However, I was really disappointed at shades when I purchase one for my iphone 3g. Reason why is it doesn't fit the phone at all. The bottom end stays partially spread open and the cut out for the microphone/speaker doesn't line up(you can't hear). It was a complete waste of money buying this case for my iphone.
