Goofy Boxer Dog never listens to my wife

I love watching videos of boxers because they truely are all the same its so funny! when I correct my dog or yell at him to do something he does the SAME thing. he'll bite at the blanket or anything close to him & stare at me, then hell spin around a few times, slap his paws down & bark. He's a bigger brat than me :) lol BOXERS ARE THE BEST <3

My boxer would sleep pressed up against me. I would move over to give him more room, and then he would move closer and pressed against me some more. I couldn't win - he just wanted to cuddle. It makes for a furry hot water bottle when sick or feeling sad!

Mine does the SAME thing on the bed. The only reason he can't sleep up there is because my husband has allergies, but I think our dog is jealous that the whole family can sleep up there because he gets crazy if I tell him to get down. Anywhere else and he listens. If I tell him to get off the bed he jumps all over it, jumps off, looks at me and jumps back on, like what are you gonna do about it? They really are smart and when they're 'bad' they're just having fun :)

My boxer, Zipper barks at me when i tell here come in. She will stand there and bark at me, till I grab a treat. She won't come in for me unless I bribe her. I think Boxers come pre-programmed for bed's, couches, riding in the truck/suv.

Our new puppy sleeps on the bed (using the pillow) like a veteran.

He gets up on the bed and sleeps on his back with his feet in the air!

He and our female boxer (Sierra) have taught me that just how loving, emotional, and special they can be. I no longer treat animals like animals. They are simply furry people that don't speak human.

For those who are giving advice, the reason the dog didn't listen right away is because she was laughing. If you listen carefully, you can hear her giggling in the background. Boxers will pick up on this and then start playing (which is part of why they're great). You need to be serious for them to listen, otherwise they will goof around with you like this.

@Doomspoon1 It was already docked (cut) before he joined the family. A lot of breeders in the U.S. will dock the boxers tail at about 1 week old. I don't agree with the practice but it was already done before so there was nothing I could do about it.
