  • Where did you get the fairings? What Cite? thanks

  • @108Blake Well the fairings are the OEM fairings. Where...I think ebay but I'm not sure...this was roughly 4 years ago

  • What was that puff of smoke at 2.01? I saw lots of Sv doing that...you have any ideea why?

  • @GoodKat22 I believe the little puff of smoke you saw and have seen is just because it was a cold start of the engine. After being warmed up, I'm fairly certain it would go away. I never had any issues with the bike, so that would be my guess.

  • @SJCgolfer06 Thanks for the answer :D keep it up!

  • I own the same fairings and frame sliders. I crashed going about 60 ish. those frame sliders are useless... I had a set of moto sliders but never got around to installing them. arrgghghhh.

    Good looking bike tho man.

  • @tristantao Appreciate it. I completely agree on the sliders; they had a bad history for failing in crashes. I got lucky and never experienced them failing. I always wanted to trade them out for motosliders...

  • @dubbys Don't need a grammar lesson from you, bro. I was an A student in English class. What you don't understand, is that you don't need to use proper, fucking grammar on YouTube!! Asshat.

  • @Dubbys Mate, don't give me a grammar lesson. I'm an A student in English. Why should I bother, on YouTube? Go and screw yourself!

  • @dubbys Mate, don't give me a grammar lesson. I'm an A student in English. Why should I bother, on UTube? Go and screw yourself!

  • @dubbys Mate, don't fucking give me a grammar lesson. I'm an A student in English. Why should I bother with grammar, on YouTube? Go and fuck yourself.

  • for insurance is it considered a sportbike or cruiser?

  • Jeez, some right bitchin comments on this post.. All I can say is that I like it, nice to see that Zero Gravity screen on there, will get my order in for one now, looks sweet...

  • @dubbys I don't live on Youtube jackass. Go suck start a shotgun.

  • @SJCgolfer06 That's too bold. You have much to learn about disrespecting someone. For now I will allow you to just humiliate yourself.

  • What kind of sliders do you have? and how are they mounted? I bought ShoGun Frame Sliders and I found that I will have to cut the plastics to mount them to the block. And the bolts it came with are designed to mount to the block.

  • did you buy the headlight assembly aftermarket or is it the "s" version that includes it? im looking to purchase the headlight assembly for my '06 sv650 (naked) this summer but dont know how much it'll cost...

  • how much did the headlight fairing/assembly cost? i just bought a '06 sv650 (naked) and im hoping to purchase the same assembly this summer

  • Two bros r for hobos!

  • @lalala11t6 great constructive comment. Do you even own a bike? I've never seen a hobo with a nice motorcycle...

  • @SJCgolfer06 yup SV with a Yoshi and no bullshit mods, penske and racetech suspension, so while u look all pretty that stock suspension will wallow you threw the corners, my track 250 will leave you behind on any twisty roads.

  • @lalala11t6 and the suspension on my 08 GSXR 750 will take me through the twisties very nicely too. But go ahead and keep talking shit if doing so over the internet makes you feel big

  • @SJCgolfer06 He probably just googled all that stuff to make him sound like he actually owns one.

  • @lalala11t6 Yoshimura pipes are usually cheaper than 2 Brothers exhausts, dumbass. Get your head out of your ass and think for a second.

  • How much did it cost you in total would you say??

  • @snowmanii I used to have the entire list with everything, but with the price of the new bike and all the parts, I would say roughly $10,000.

  • Hey man, an awesome bike. Its a shame you don't have it anymore, but I guess an upgrade to a 750 isn't bad trade-off. I currently own an 07 GS500F, and when I get the money to upgrade, I am definitely looking at something with more torque, and an SV650 or 1000 seems to me like it would do the job nicely. Also, how did you get the lower fairings for it? Every time I checked the website it was always either naked or half-faired. Great vid man, I will be sure to check your others.

  • @DawnOfDaybreak The lower fairings are the OEM Suzuki Accessory fairings for the SV650. I thought as of 2008 they sold the SV with full fairings. Though I do know they changed the model name to the Gladius in like 2009 or something. Regardless, the lower fairings are about $450. Thanks for the compliments.

  • this is sick bro. how do you like it??? also I was thinking of selling my r6 and getting one of these so I get handle bar raisers to sit more comfortablely. what do you think?

  • @5010246 Thanks. I liked it while I had it. I haven't had this bike since September 2009. Got a 08 GSXR 750 after that. If you're looking for more comfort with decent V-Twin power, then go for it.

  • nice bike

  • just because you have an exhaust and gsxr rearsets doesnt make this an "r" lmao. take the bitch bar off and get a seat cowl.

  • @VW07GTI how many times do I have to tell you fucking trolls that it's my bike, I can call it whatever the fuck I want. And if you read the previous posts, you would know that I got rid of this bike almost a year ago. I ride a 2008 GSXR 750 now.

And that "bitch bar" is for the girls that like riding on the back with me, something you would obviously know nothing about. And I did have a seat cowl for when I ride alone.

You, sir, truly are an idiot. Even the video said it wasn't finished yet

  • @VW07GTI word!

  • Do you have a P1 powertip on the M2 slip-on?

  • @ducflyer Nope. Pretty sure they didn't offer that accessory when I bought the exhaust back in 2007.

  • @ducflyer

I does sound good, thanks for the reply.

  • Just go rideeee it man!!

  • @iamsam87v you think I didn't? Regardless, this bike has been gone for 6 months. I'm on a 08 GSXR 750 now

  • lol the miles were so low. I took mine and rode it till like 3500 miles before i could even get time to do mods. Nice bike though - Like the color.

  • ummmm. The miles weren't low. You realize the bike has an odometer an different tripometers right? The number you saw was showing that I had 39.9 miles on that tank of gas.....

  • Thanks on the compliment on the color tho! I loved it too

  • Thats the only lower fairing i've seen on an sv that looks good.

  • nice bike im gonna turn my sv650s into an sv650r to. i just designd some sv650r stickers and they look nice just have to put them on.

  • cool bro...

  • that was probably one of the nicest 600cc class bikes i have ever seen it is not too exagerated but still no way near standard appearance and the sound well beefy is a good word for it overall a bike i wouldn´t mind owning and riding everyday

  • good looking bike.

  • im gonna switch my oval stainless 2 bros pipe off my busted 1st gen onto the 2nd gen im buying. should should very nice. and it takes a lot more beating ;-)

  • God damn! shut up and start the engine already.

  • these bikes sound so beefy

  • Should've gone for SS pipe, more resonance.

  • But it looks like crap, and trust me....my pipe is plenty loud. Sets off car alarms just by riding by without revving it

  • And the SS pipe also transfers more heat than the CF

  • great looking bike man good color choices

  • Super sport pipe install? it looks better

  • what? the only company that makes a GP-STYLE exhaust for the SV is scorpion and it looks eh, and it doesn't sound as nice.

I think mine looks better, but you can have your own opinion

  • 4wheelinisfun... i have an 06 sv650 strettfighter... we went with the 2 bros carbon fiber jus like the one in the vid. Out of all the sv's ive seen with pipes i will say the 2bros has sounded the best, its the deepest sounding one and it loks the best too.

  • hey way to stand up to that ass hole svbummin, nice bike looks good, i just bought a 2009 sv650s want to put an exhaust on it but not sure which one to get suzuki shop is pushing for me to get a yoshi but from what ive heard on vids so far i like the 2 brothers best

  • i like the crash bobbin things yeh...but do you have the crash bars on too?

is that whats poking out of the fairing or am i seeing things lol :D

  • nice bike. how much where the lower fairings and are thet easy to put on?

  • the lower fairings were around the 450 range I think (I put them on nearly 2 years ago), and I don't know how hard they were to install. My mechanic put them on.

  • nice bike man :)

i really like the sv 650 gonna buy mine next year :D

what's the top speed of yours?

  • indicated 140, so realistically, maybe 125

  • Really nice job man, I just picked up an 06, sv650S, [red] First thing Im gonna do is the eliminator kit, which one is on your bike> I really like the look of it. and how much of a pain is it to fit? thx.

  • The kit on my bike, isn't really a kit. It's a custom fab that my mechanic did for me while he was doing all the other work too. Sorry man.

  • No prob man, tell the dude, he did a great job.

  • Nice ride. One question....did you notice a hp change with the slip on and/or the K&N? I have a 2007 SV...fully fared as well. Oh and as for comments from guys like svbummin.....personally I just ignore these assholes....they have no friends so they are just happy to get anyone to have any kind of conversation with them. I have a music channel here on youtube and I get assholes commenting as well on my music.....If a guy is a real asshole...remove the comment and block the user :)

    Cheers !

  • I appreciate the comment. In terms of the hp change, I can't really comment. What I can tell you is this....there was a noticeable "seat of the pant" change in power and acceleration. It may of just been in my head, but it seemed more powerful.

  • i am planning on taking over the payments on my friend's 07 SV650S because he only has $3500 left to pay on it, so he is giving me a deal. Since i would be financing it i was wondering what the general full coverage insurance cost would be on these?

  • I have a k6 sv650s i bought new. Im 20 years old now and i still pay 800$ a month for 4 months outta the year so like 3200 for the year with a clean driving record. I can find cheaper anywhere else im also in canada

  • holy cow they screw you over up there.

Full coverage through Progressive is like 60 a month.

  • I can NOT find cheaper anywhere

  • Damn. I got liability on mine and its like $30 a month. Fuck full.

  • slip on is like plug and play..?

  • First of all, you don't know me. Second I've worked at a motorcycle shop and been riding for 5 years. Real bikers that do other things besides ride, like maybe WORK, and can afford the luxury, do use mechanics. Bounce it off the rev limiter? Right, I revved *MY* bike so that others could hear what the exhaust sounds like besides at idle like a lot of the videos on here. It helps when choosing an exhaust. You've never redlined your bike? If you have one...

    You pompous prick...

  • This is the last time I comment you back, or you comment on my video. No, I didn't make my own fender eliminator or put on my own frame sliders. I pay to have a someone else do the work, because it is a luxury and a time saver that I can afford and choose to use. I call it an SVR, because I want to. I could call it a razor scooter if I wanted, but it doesn't matter, because it's my bike. And the exhaust isn't weak.

Oh, and I'm not a weekend rider. I ride every fuckin day you fuck tard.

  • Quality vid man, nice bike as well.

  • wow man...SVbummin you need to either a) go somewhere else or b) shut up and stop ragging on other people's videos.

SJC nice bike bro i really like the custom work you've done to it. Gave me some ideas for mine.

  • Thanks a lot man, really appreciate it. Hope the ideas work out for your bike.

  • Just remove the baffle and yer done!

  • I got a k5 sv and i have to say the m4 exhausts dominate, performance and sound wise vs 2 bros, yosh, and leos

  • looks great! i just put a leo vince exhaust and fender eliminator on my 2008. a work in progress. Have fun be safe.

  • love the bike... were u get the fender eliminator with those sweet turn signals... was it ur mechanic or u buy it from somewhere

  • my mechanic made the fender eliminator for me. the turn signals came from Cycle Gear. and thanks for the comment

  • Why didn't you just buy a proper 600 instead?

  • not everyone wants the same that everyone else has. and i prefer the V-twin engine configuration.

  • beautiful bike man. how much for the fairings?

  • nice bike man, i just dont like the black side fairings, cos u cant see them that well, blue it up!

  • thanks man. and naw, I like the black. It gives it character from just the normal monotony of all blue. Plus its not like everyone else's out there that just added fairings.

    But thanks for the comment!

  • I love the black fairings! I have an 07 red sv650s...where can I get some black fairings?

  • I was searching the web on what changes give the sv the "R". Good to know that people are out there sharing! Just remember sharing is caring PEACE!

  • I like, I like a lot. And yeah you can call it Whatever you want. I Love it.

  • cool setup

  • sweet sv ...I will do the same to my kawasaki ex650

  • in order to be considered and sv650r you need more than just the lowers that just makes it an sv650sf

the r comes when you put gsxr inverted forks, radial brakes, and 636 ninja shock

  • Actually, in order for me to call it an SV650R, I need to own the bike. Last time I checked, I do, therefore I can call it what I want. If you listened to the video, I've done more to it than just add the lowers. Also the SV650SF is a model that came out 2 years after my bike so I would never call it that.

Thanks for your interest though, jackass.

  • sf=full fairing

if you knew anything that is not an "r" conversion

mine has an r conversion witch made the bike allot better but i actually work on my bike, i don't have my "mechanic" do the frame sliders on for me i do it myself

grow some balls and either admit you know nothing or learn

  • I work at a motorcycle shop and I know more than enough. The reason my mechanic did that work was because he was repairing the entire bike after I got hit by a car so I just had him do everything rather than have to take it home and continue to work on it. I'd rather take it home and ride it.

I'm glad you like your bike, I don't really care. I don't need a better shock since I'm so light, I've already upgraded my brakes, and I don't feel like I need the GSXR shocks.

  • without the gsxr forks the bike is shit

and the rear shock helps more than you could imagine

but that is for people that ride the bike like it's intended i.e. fast arround a track

  • that rear shock is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. i dont care how much you weigh! and yeah, seriously i totally had my mechanic (trained ape) put my frame sliders on too.

  • ROCK ON!!!!

  • Nice SV. Two Brothers rocks! The douchebag whining about "R" and "SF" should log off and go ride his Vespa.

  • damn dude...nice job!

  • nice looking bike you can see my sv here as well. with that new paint job you should take those factory stickers off!!!

  • Nice Viedo.. Keep up the good work on the bike
