Just over a year ago we got to spend about an hour with Terri, Bindi and Robert, just my family and them at Australia Zoo. It was an awesome experience. They are all so down to earth and passionate in what they do. They are a True Blue tribute to Steve he would be so proud of them.

Bindi Sue has done Steve proud here, I reckon. She's one very courageous girl. I had a huge lump in my throat when this was broadcast on Animal Planet in 2006. I'm pretty sure Steve would've loved her speech. Especially at the end where she vows to "help Daddy with his work". Bindi Sue, you rock, girl. Keep up the good work.

@jakechitty1Steve's enthusiasm rubbed off on just about everybody, including those who, like me, never knew or met him. I think we should all remember that he died doing something he loved. It's great that Bindi Sue and her little brother Bob are following in Steve's footsteps. They're both a credit to Terri and Steve.

you know, I just watched this for the first time...and I am crying....most adults wouldn't have been able to do that...that little girl was a brave littel soul with incredible composure and genuine adoration for her daddy and for his cause....wow...so mature...it broke my heart to know that her heart was broken by the terrible loss she must have felt before/while giving this speech :(
what a trooper and a great example to us all....RIP Steve Irwin
