Great video. i purchased one of these recently and i just want to know how to take the protective cage off?! i don't really want to damage the actual amp
The reason I did not buy this amplifier is because I was confused as to weather I would be getting a 13watt or a 25watt model. How do you tell? I ended up on getting an old Alchemist Axiom transistor amp due to its quality and warm sound and I will be buying a separate DAC to run my computer off it.
I wanted a very good sounding device with a quality steam punk look and this valve amp would have been perfect.
What speakers match? i.e. Wharfdale Diamond 9.1 / 10.1 or Quad Lite 1 / 2?
It is 13 watts a channel. You need some good response speakers that will operate at a low level but make sure they are able to take much more than 13 watts because this thing punches well above its weight. I have mine wired to a pair of Krix Equinox, which have good low power response, but also a 100w max, and I'd say they need it.
yeah, please indicate what this 25W X 2 business is all about. I am buying one of these in about 2 days, and now you made me really confused about the performance of the thing. I'd really like to know how to find the difference in 13W and 25W models, if they do exist.

valves are the best. i have a separo e34i and 40 watts each channel. kill all my transistor silicone amps. hands down. the trouble is valve amps are built on pcb boards now not hand to hand wiring like mine.

I have this amplifier with the iPod Dock, Denon CD player and B&W speakers-sounds AMAZING!!!! DEFINITELY RECCOMEND ALL PIECES OF MY SETUP
