Hi Tom, thanks for the clear and comprehensible presentation. I'm afraid it did not help me though. First of all, the USB stick kind of infringes with the process, since leaving it in causes a new problem: bootcamp isn't able to find the drive to install windows. When I unplug it, it all works fine, just as you presented - but then, that leads us to the old problem, doesn't it? Plugging it in later on was my first thought, but alas, the second time the iMac reboots, the blank screen reappears.

@bloodragonunivers if it stops loading at or after the windows loading logo then boot back into OSX by restarting and holding the option key and then google NTFS-3G on download.com. Its free then restart when it prompts you too and then delete the file atimksys in the new partition. My was untitled then windows\ system32\drivers folder. then restart the computer and it will reboot continue into windows in VGA mode and volia you install the remaining drivers off the MAC OSX CD and you done xD

Tom, thanks a bunch man. Just got my 27" iMac and your video was invaluable in teaching me the correct and complete process that I needed to go through to install Windows 7 via bootcamp. I only ran into one issue and that was I initially used a USB drive for the drivers and it didn't seem to get recognized, although I think the real problem is that I only copied the drivers folder and the other file apple suggests. Using an SD card and copying ALL of the files fixed the problem.
