Hey there! Thanks for posting this. Looks like you & hubby had a great time. I've done a little research, but I would love your opinion as well. I've read the top-4 rated over the water resorts has St. Regis at # 1. Do you have your own rating system given you've been there? Thanks so much, and BTW - I lived in Plano for a period of time right out of college and absolutely loved it! I love Louisville, as well, but I certainly miss all that Big D had to offer. See ya.

my boyfriend and I are looking to go to a cheap place in bora bora. we were told about this place, what i am really looking for is the nice clear blue water, in your description you said that there is not clear blue water there like everywhere else, do you recommend a place that does have clear blue water??
this is truly a fabulous video. I have been given a recent assignment to conduct a shark (tiger, white tip reef, bull, and spotted rays) tagging excursion in Bora Bora. Our reservations are at the Pearl Resort, so I am trying to see what to expect when I get there. I will be there for 45 days, quite a long time. It will be my first out of the country assignment, most of my work is done on the Atlantic Ocean along the East Coast, mainly Florida when it comes to lg sharks. thanks for posting this.
This is a great video thanx for sharing, did $8K cover all meals as well as trasportation? from where? and how long was the trip?Sorry I may seem to be asking too much but like to take my wife someday.
Gosh, it has only been 2 years to the day since we were there and I have already forgot what we paid. I think it was between 8-10K but we also had a wedding in Moorea that was a couple hundred. We live in Dallas flew to from Dallas to LAX to Tahiti, to Moorea, to Bora Bora and then back. It was worth every penny and the food was included in our package we bought and that allowed the two of us a 3 course meal. It was so good too, hope that helps. I have a great agent if you need one.
It was a packaged deal for us to stay in Moorea and Bora Bora about $8,000. But that was our wedding and the honeymoon. So we splurged and paid for it. I know my parents were happy with that:)
this is great, thanks for putting this up! my husband and i are honeymooning in bungalow #49 as well in may 2008! the only thing i don't like is there doesn't appear to be a bath tub, only a shower.
you are right, there is not a bath tube. also, we loved the Sofitel Bora Bora, but on your way there by boat you will pass a ton of resorts in the blue blue water. Sofitel Bora Bora is in darker water but it is deeper, so it is good for snorkeling. just FYI!
