Why? So Spain ended up 90% destroyed and occupied like Germany, or humiliated like Italy? No thanks. Spain would not have been enough to turn the war around. The CSA was long gone by WWII, which I'm sure you know; and they were not fascists, but the total opposite.

I know that this was the anthem of Spain under the leadership of Francisco Franco, but I must say the lyrics are somewhat catchy. If one were to just take somethings out and put other things in, it would be a great anthem.
I especially like this part:
"Gloria a la patria que supo seguir sobre el azul del mar el caminar del sol"
Afterall, the Americas probably would not be the same if it wasn't for discovery led by Columbus and the Spanish Kindom.
