More special treatment for celebrities. Here in Florida, good behavior only earns you 2 days on a 30 day sentence and the jails are just as overcrowded. Only pity I can find is being isolated, at least other prisoners can provide entertainment.

It's a silly situation because Lohan isn't a danger to society like most criminals but the underlying premise is terrifying. It's terrifying to think that certain people can avoid jail time because they're rich or famous or well liked. This type of thing has to be stopped before it becomes more and more serious. Look at how Bush was able to get out of war crimes trials because of his public influence. No more special treatment. This is America, where all men are supposed to be created equal.

@FireScorpion343 Marijuana became illegal not because there was no effective way to tax it but because of misinformation and propaganda claiming it was a threat to public safety. They said it made people violent and irrational.
Back then it was not nearly as popular or widely used as it is today. Most people knew nothing about it so they heard the stories and believed them. Marijuana became illegal right around the time Prohibition ended and alcohol became legal again.

Such as human trafficking, prostitution, maybe even to produce other harder drugs and maybe even to illegally buy guns. So, when people say it's just pot.
