I was a Premie, but I never thought Maharaji was God. An interesting person, someone who offered a method (meditation techniques) for centering and calming yourself. But God, nah. He was a greedy kid who was not bright enough to see how that turned off people as it presented him in a very materialistic light. He and his handlers were naive about Western culture, but not dumb enough to miss cashing in big time.
