@lobzdik They're not confusing. Each S&W revolver has different variations, some major and some minor, that make it more appealing to a bigger variety of buyers. No gun lover can honestly say that there isn't at least one Smith out there that they love.
Ever see someone make a youtube video for a gun an forget to check the gun my nextdoor neighbor did an shot through my sons bedroom he told the cops he was making a video for youtube an thought it was empty didnt stop me from taking my 45 an breaking his door down im an armed guard not some lil kid
My favorite snubby...mine is chambered for .38 Spl. Original hardwood grips with a pair of Tyler T-grips.. It's an accurate CCW revolver, that NEVER jams. Real easy to clean and fun to shoot. I like the weight of the SS model I can "feel" the weapon in my holster. No chance of losing it. Your right in .357 this gun is a bit rough on the wrist.
I get a lot of negative at range, but so far not one person has volunteered to stand in front of it !
@LMHS63 Let me guess, their those guys shooting their 45 auto and thinking everything else smaller is going to bounce off the skin. A 38, 9mm, 380, or even a .22 will kill with good shot placement.
I appreciate just about all firearms and calibers..........If it's strong enough to be classified as a firearm, its more than strong enough to stop a criminal.
Hey asshole fuckface dumb fucking prick mother fucker cock sucker next time make sure you check that its unloaded you fucking retarded basterd people like you give registerd gun owners a bad name what if it was loaded an u killed some innocent person i wanna find you an throw shit an piss in ur face you fucking cunt
@azzkik3r666 you're a little charmer eh?...your parents must be so proud of you. You sound about twelve years old...grow up you halfwit. And scrub that filthy hole in the front of your face that you call a mouth.
How is the recoil on a J Frame with 357 mag? I shot a 686 and I felt the 357 mag rounds were a bit much for me, but that was when I first started shooting.
@dakine425 i like this model 60. Its the perfect blend of power in a compact package. Ive always liked the J frame and a .357 J frame but with a 3 inch barrel for improved ballistics and a grip just long enough to fill your hand, it seems perfect, and can still be easily carried as a back up gun. I dont know why yours came with a 2 finger grip, though.
@dakine425 I really dig your choice. I don't own a J-frame as of yet, just a K-frame 66-1 for the moment. I don't understand why you would opt for a steel frame .357mag if you only intend on carrying it with .38+P rounds. If you don't plan on using the magnums why not buy an airweight J-frame in .38+P? You would save yourself some weight & still load the rounds you prefer. Just my thoughts. Thanks for the review!
tuesday im buying a used model 60 (only a couple hundred rounds through it) with a high vis front sight, bianchi leather holster, pachmayr grips and it comes with the case all for around 450... is that not an insane deal?
@Ronald3570 That is a great deal. You will really like it. .357 is a great defense round and 38special is a great range/practice round. Heck 38sp +p is a great defense round also.
excellent review!!you ever try firing hornady leverevolution rounds through it?(357) they were ment for the lever actions but their great in everything else, accurate!lil higher on cost, actually a lot, consider you only get 25 for about $20/25. again great vid!!5/5
@BOHEMIANHUNTINGCLUB Thanks man, I did shoot the leverelution through it it's a great round. I like loading it with the 38special +P leverelution. I load my lever action with the hornady 357 though. I think this would be a great hunting round. Have you had good luck with it?
OMFG dude, i hate you. You have a 3" model 60. I so want one of those. Actually, i want the model 60 pro series. And a 627 performance center....one of them snubbie ones with 8 shots.....mmmmmm.....
@TheRedn3ckChannel On large frames it's great, but after about 40 rounds of .357 in a jframe gets a little too uncomfortable. It won't jump out of the hand, but you can definitely tell the difference.
Great review, they are really nice! Awesome revolver to carry for the size atleast. Nice grips and you get a little more to grab on to if you ever need to draw the revovler. 5/5
I realized that I tend to think of my Smith 60-15 as more of a 'kit gun'
