  • The title is misleading. This is a linear, non-clicky keyboard. The "clack" you hear is the sound of the keys bottoming out (rather hard in this particular case, I must say, but it's because of the game). It's easier to avoid bottoming out on tactile and clicky keyboards where you can feel the point of actuation before you hit the bottom, but during high-action gameplay, it can be tough to avoid.

Note that Deck does not make a clicky keyboard. They have tactile and linear models.

  • Where is your deck keyboard made?

  • @PILMAN they're made in Wisconsin, I believe. Incredible build quality and insane switches.

  • how do you change from the arrow keys? i hate using them and would much prefer a layout like yours

  • will haben!!!!

  • MX Black or Clear?

  • @Geoxile not sure. check out elitekeyboards for a good selection

  • @werdwerdus ? I'm asking what switch version of the Deck you got.

  • @Geoxile it's the original version so i assume Black switches. it is linear switches so it must be Black.

  • @Geoxile Clear

  • I know this is old as hell but werd, what kind of cherry switches do they use? I'm trying to get a Black Mechanical switch as they're better for gaming.

  • @DannyGWarrior i don't know sorry. check out elitekeyboards for a pretty wide selection

  • @DannyGWarrior The Deck 105 key Legend measures 18.5" long x 7" deep x 2" high (with feet raised) and weighs 3.5 pounds. Cable length is approximately 6 feet (exposed). Tactile feedback switches (Cherry MX1A-C1NW, clear). And as always this Deck carries our 1 year warranty and a 30 day money back satisfaction guarantee!

  • @DannyGWarrior This one is the Linear switches, which are blacks AFAIK

  • @werdwerdus Video title says clicky keys, yet you say they are the linear black keys. Make up your mind. Which one is it?

  • @Nathan173AB linear, it makes a "click" when it bottoms out, just as any keyboard but louder than most...

  • Oddly, I'd find it cooler if I could only hear the keyboard. Sounds like the stepfile gives you a good tap-dance rhythm. :)

  • I have a Deck 82 and I never want to use a membrane keyboard again.

  • what song is that?

  • @kinkymana Delirium by Kyle Ward (aka KaW, or Smiley)

  • Is this the linear or tactile version?

  • @raysup linear. original version of the Legend

  • These keyboards cost a bomb right?

  • @wildreams Does it have anti-ghosting?

  • @wildreams you can press all the keys at once (NKRO)

  • @predeturd When using it on PS/2 yes, in USB its is limited to 6 keys + 4 modifiers by the USB spec for keyboards. 6KRO is enough for most things, nkro is really nice when on something with a PS/2 port. Unfortunately most laptops don't have them any more.

  • I have a Das Keyboard. It's kinda like this, but it's more geared toward the average geek. Cool keyboard though.

  • That was awesome, and you got a "toasty" really fast!

  • the keys are loud not really silent

  • ima but one probably red or green

  • Delirium O_o

  • Thank you for recording this! I honestly wanted to know what the keys sounded like, I was worried it may be too loud. Seems decent to me. Does anyone in your house/apartment complain about the noise though?

  • ahaha!! i gonna get one of these ~_~!!!

  • i want a deck keyboard so bad!!!!

  • lol

u shud make the "clickity remix"

and nice k1000's i saw it from a link in headfi
