I must say, when she came on the music scene years ago in 1999 at the age of 17, I wasn't impressed by the cookie-cutter, pre-packaged, teenie-bopper bullshit she was putting out. She was very controlled, not only image-wise, but vocally as well. The music industry is so corporately controlled, it's frightening. But now, at the age of 30, she's a better singer than ever and developing into quite a woman. You're looking at 1 of the greatest singers ever. This song blows me away. AND I'M STRAIGHT!

Now, Christina, her older music, it's more geared towards girls/teenyboppers, and has now shifted to songs that women w/more maturity can relate w/. I do think that Taylor's lyrics are progressing w/her age, but her choice of material reflects a single young lady w/out children.
