I like the idea of what you did there with the pipe cleaners. Smart! And then too with the sponge rollers. very neat looking. How would you make the large ringlets like in the video loctician?

I tried it one time w/ the long pipe cleaners & it worked! But to get that bouncy look you've got to have long locs which I don't...so I'll wait to try it again when they get longer. Chescaleigh does a good vid on how to achieve the look.

well you could use a dab of hot glue to seal over the ends and make it more permanent : )

I actually tried that...didn't work well :( So far the duct tape is holding out but I just know there is a product out there that is better. Thanks for helping =)

This is brilliant! I would have never thought to put tape on the ends of my pipe cleaners. My only question is are you worried about them shedding in your hair? I once used brown pipe cleaners to match my hair color just in case any of the cleaners shedded, which some of them did but not a whole lot.

I removed all loose fibers before I used them, other than that no problems. Also I ALWAYS use end papers. Thanks!!
