I work for a company in Dallas Tx that has a team of vets with a boarding and grooming facility across the street and I take care of about 60-90 dogs along with other team members every day. I love these Dachs. and I have seen a few with some unique color markings and they are so fun to play with. I usually play with their ears.. strange I know :)

I saw your Iso in Slow Motion- Chasing a Laser and had to get my dog and make her watch the rest of them with me. She fell asleep on my lap but your dog is adorable. I also own a dachshund. Well 3 but Bindi, the one on my lap, is the little one and when she was born she became sick and almost died. Luckily she is alive but is a little more spoiled than the rest.

From a life-long Dachsie person, please consider training ISO to not jump up and down on furniture, as it may eventually lead to ruptured disc and back surgery. I've watched the last three IsoInSloMo hits about five times each, and now comes another! I hope you folks are knowledgeable ownees. One of my dachshunds died far too young, possibly because he was allowed to do stuff a dachsel's back shouldn't do. Folks know more about sobachki owneeship generally now than they did in the 1960s....

quarters for treats. By age 3 he already had trouble with locomotion at the rear end, and his death at 3 could have been related to that.
