  • I am in shock. I read years ago when I first started listening to them that the lead singer had committed suicide WTF!?

  • @laendeavor "...the lead singer had committed suicide WTF!?"

You aren't confusing this band with Joy Division are you?

  • This band had it all. Musically they're powerful and build a song like this one to climatic points. I love Mark's putting himself out there vocally with tremendous passion. They've been in my top 3 since 1985.

  • Got this vid. Remember being really dissapointed with the sound quality. Not to mention Dave acting like a twat and that knobhead kwasi toasting over 'One Flesh' totally destroying a brilliant song. Dam dam shame.

  • F****NG AMAYZING RECORD

    F****NG AMAYYZING BAND

    Thanks for posting this man

  • when i saw "live 2000" i thought wow i didnt know they were still playing live... then realized that was 9 years ago damn

  • is my fav one.

  • Just blasted this [original CD version] song on my car stereo today....

  • The music is wonderful, but the audio is terrible! Aff...

  • God, I just loooove this band!

  • one of my favs from this awesome band.

  • I freaking LOVE this song! Good to hear it live!

  • thwy are truly one of the greatest bands out there. They should've been much more widely recognized

  • i was at this gig have you got swamp thing as well icould not see it cheers

  • No not got Swamp Thing soz.

  • I was at this gig too, unfortunately for whatever reason Swamp Thing was edited off the VHS release of this concert....grrrrr. Maybe technical recording error at start of gig who knows.

  • Well posted! i think they may have saved it for a future release. I remember them coming on to that at the start...It was amazing!

  • God what a great song!

  • Seattle at the Showbox. 02 and 03 were weird because everyone came at once and then nothing. There was one week where I met, WIRE, Jazz and Geordie from Killing Joke and Todd A from Firewater. Then ZIP! BOREDOM!

  • While we are on the subject does anyon know whay they hate playing Mad Jack live?

  • I can only think they weren`t playing live too many times towards the end of the band.

  • That makes sense. I saw them in 02. Late 02 at that

  • really? where? i thought they had split again by then. obviously not.

  • When I saw them live they left this one out of the set. Now I feel ripped off, this song is incredible live! Thanks for the posting!

  • Agree. The tempo changes are superb here and Mark sings even more passionate at the end of the song.Terrific drumming, too.

    Thanks for posting.

  • agreed. Can`t remember if they did this one the few times I saw them....

  • They played "caution" at Middleton Civic Hall in 1986 when I saw them there. Or ws it 87? Definitely the Strange times tour anyway. Bird had a ponytail to tidy up his long hair and I chucked a beermat at Dave Fielding.
