in the manual it says adjust the potentiometer with a screwdriver and it is on the circuit board. I cant find it and was wondering if anyone could help with this issue.
@Stang68Bird nope dude, but i have gained control of the trim a little more, so its more stable but would be good if i could find the potentiometer :)
it does...the main rotor makes the up and down, left and right...the tail rotor spins to push the tail of the heli to make it go forward...thats how 3ch heli works.....too bad my helis tail rotor is broken...=(
I just got mine from Red5 a couple of problems though:
it was about to hit my friend so 4 feet in the air i cut the throttle and it plummited to the ground and the wire connecting the tail rotor came out so I had to put copper extension in to connect it. Also, when I manage to stop it from spinning round, when make it go higher, it starts spinning again; and lower, it starts spinning in the opposite direction...
I got mine from Red5. Wont shop there again was £40 online and £50 in the shop... wtf. The heli is poor at best - the tail rotor motor is too weak... means you cant get a decent forward speed. I asked them if they would let me take it back and exchange, they said no!? wtf! i only used it for 2 mins. As for trimming, that is a problem with these coaxials.... You can trim it for a certain hover point, anything higher will spin one way, anything lower will spin the other... just the way it is...
ok,,,,,, u can get a decent speed with it,, if u trim in the middle anything will be fine, and look for more stores. it's a excellent helicopter for beginners! sure the speed is not damn fast but u can get a decent speed!
look at my video,,,, and also better at this one -_-
@staggy916 Of course you won't get a refund or credit if you take it back once you've used it. What will they do with it? They won't be able to send it back to the warehouse as it's not faulty. They won't be able to sell it because no one will want to buy a helli that's been used (no matter how short the period). What would you suggest that they do with it when they give your money back? Throw it in the bin and be down £40?
Every time I try and take it off the ground, it spins like mad, I tried tweaking with it like the instructions said, but the manual is pretty much useless, looks like they used Google translator. Any help appreciated.
look at the top rotor blades, there are two metal pins inside the shaft that help the whole top blades pivot. these were loose on mine and made the top rotor sag, i just used a little bit of crazy glue to make them stay in there. i think u may have the same problem.
Hey how do you make the rotor on the rear more powerful? can i glue a second flap and and give it more push???? it barely goes forward when i preset. it goe backward ok though. Please help!!!!
Remove the canopy and move the battery about 1/2" forward. This will balance the helicopter better and it will be more likely to go forward with the limited forward thrust.
I just received mine but there´s a strange problem with it.Whe I start to move UP/Down Control it does not respond precisely and start to rotate extremelly fast the engine and the helicopter goes up with any other control and suddenly stops and fall. I can´t control the rotation in any other velocity. Just in top speed. My helicopter stops in the hi wall. What can be wrong with it? I´m using Sony Rechargeble battery on remote control.
I just bought this, and i love it. I just learned that the back rotor makes it go forward. The bad part is, i lost it. It fell of in flight and i dont know where it is. I need to know how much it would cost and if i have to crazy glue next time
Dude, if someone can answer this guys question...with a video or some sort of pictoral guide...most of the toys fanbase will greatly appreciate it...cos it seams to be the problem with most of them (including mine) the trim is just not enough to compensate for the damn spinning!!!
i have the same problem, it never goes straight.... either spins right or left.... i cant make it more stable, and flying that things indoors is hard :S
Also, no matter how long I spend adjusting the trim it never stays straight! It either spins left or right. Any tips? Manual says to adjust the screw in the potentiometer...what is that?
Hey, I just got mine today. Just wondering if there are better batteries available? I've been searching online and can't find a battery that will fit that's better than 1000mah.
its either your steering to specific direction were only the torque steers it. or probably its a co axial right so it steers by varying speed on the main rotor
im just one step of ordering one , you recommend it ? it is more sturdy and armored than other cheap copters? you know, i wonder if it crash one or two times, could that be the end or eventually repair maintenance. seller says that alloy shark can fly for 10- 15 minutes it is true or false ??
Pretty NICE Flying! Try taking Off those 2fiberglass tail fins with the 4 screws, you'll get Alot More Forward Speed. When i added a piece of half inch duck tape over the Front 2 Landing Skids, it's now Crazy Fast! Thanks for Sharing!!!

help!! what can i do!! my tail rotor doesn't spin when i want it to go forward and backward...=(
yahzine20 2 years ago
@yahzine20 i have one i dont think the tail rotor controls front or backwards movement
alanack67 2 years ago
it does...the main rotor makes the up and down, left and right...the tail rotor spins to push the tail of the heli to make it go forward...thats how 3ch heli works.....too bad my helis tail rotor is broken...=(
yahzine20 2 years ago
@yahzine20 sorrry i failed to notice that well it only works if the main rotors are reved up quite a bit
alanack67 2 years ago
@yahzine20 try taking the tail rotar apart, then just put it back together, thats what fixed mine... the gear inside wasnt connecting...
75zackattack75 2 years ago
the gears doesn't contact each other?? is it hard to dis assemble the tail rotor?
yahzine20 2 years ago
@yahzine20 yeah its easy... 3 or 4 tiny screws...

thundercunt44 2 years ago
that happend to me aswell the bit off the tail came off and i found it could hover more easily without spinning
pitazo 2 years ago
When i first got mine i couldn't control it at all.
I kept on trimming it when ever it started to slightly rotate without me trying to make it.
Now it is quite easy to control.
I accidently broke off half of the wing on the tail of mine and it made it easier to control?

btw the coaxial helis, all of them have the same problem so in case of those complainants where you talk about is a bit foolish.

the back roter spins to bring the tail up, this make it go forward, there for i only spins when you are making it go forward.
