  • Bourque is the 2nd Greatest Bruins defenseman ever, but probably the 3rd best overall behind Bobby Orr and Doug Harvey. Dafoe does not belong in this clip at all.

  • Eddie Shore (another Bruin) 2nd and Bourque 3rd

  • Eddie Shore is definitely in the discussion, but I'd have Shore 3rd behind Bourque. Shore led them to the Cup, but it was in a 6 team league. Bourque had more goals, assists, points, and he competed against much better talent than Shore. Bourque came in with Gretzky, and Lemieux followed shortly thereafter. If it weren't for the Oilers, Bourque would have 2 more cups. Yes, Eddie has 4 Hart trophies, and he is synonymous with old time hockey. I don't think you can go wrong with either pick.

  • looks good

  • bourque is the best d man of all time

  • You are so right with that statement. Orr was only good for 8 Norris trophies, 2 Playoff M.V.P. trophies, 2 scoring titles,2 Stanley Cups and numerous other awards. So you take Bourque and be happy.

  • wow wow wow, dont get mad, i didnt say orr was shit i love booby orr to its diffrent when u havent seen a player play so i cant really judge bobby orr even thow his awesome, i grew up when bourque was on the bruins

  • Yea me too. But about the Dafoe part, I grew up with him on the team but I would not classify him as a Bruins great. Cheevers, or Moog would be.
