i was in high school with kool rock. we went to wells high school on ashland and augusta. i remember in our freshman year i use to call him rudolph and he hated that so he started callin me dj bam from the partys we use to throw. man this dude saved my ass at this big party we threw at the erie building and one of the turntables went out. he took this old ass turntable with woodgrain around it and went to work and saved our party and from that we got real kool.

Out of all of our childhood friends it's only a few of us who are trying to better our life each day. The rest are either in jail, on drugs or dead.

We all went to James McCosh gramma school. We were on 63rd & Champlain down the street from James McCosh gramma school. Yeah, Kool Rock died of AIDS from having unprotected sex with girls.. Everyone hung at Leon house on 63rd & Champlain and was having unprotected sex with the same girls. A few of my friends from that 63rd & Champlain Crew died of AIDS.
