  • I ask myself.. would a Christian ruler shown the same respect.. (well besides.. King Baldwin).

  • @veritas1031 dont ask ur self that, because I can ask you this , would a Muslim person shown same respect as Saladin ? maybe? maybe Not !

so,,,lets not guess and just learn from good and forget the evils

  • Saladin was the only good kurd

  • @GagarinCCCP its like saying " I know all the Kurds , and they are bad all of them but Saladin is the only good one, "

    dude ! get a brain.

  • @GagarinCCCP You are an idiot :s).

  • Is this when he enters the holy sepulcher?

  • I like the music. can anyone tell me name of the song?

  • so in that case, they won?

  • @1969grau lol, Thats not the point :) ,

in War there is no WINNER , there is a Loser and Death...

  • A sad day.

  • @DrBilton not sure what to understand...but NOW/PRESENT is always sad days..

  • Great movie, great leader, great culture, but in real life he personally dragged the holy relic cross trough the streets of jerusalem, look it up, he was about to slaughter everyone like richard did but balian and the defenders said if he did they would sack all the muslim holy places , so salahadin let them leave peacefully, this movie does give a nice message though, its just not historically accurate;)

  • @larzinator1988 You forgot the part where Saladin freed Non-Muslim prisoners with his "own" money. If a man can do this, why would he slaughter everyone in the first place? If he ever wanted to slaughter everyone, I would not blame him, because the Christians did the same during the first Crusade. Google it.

  • whats the man of this soooooooundddtrrraaaaaaack?

  • @muazzam64 name i ment!

  • the beauty of tolerance in islam.

    I love this scene

you should add when he picks up the cross and puts it on the table-most powerful scene

  • whats the name of the soundtrack plz

  • An apt depiction of Salahuddin 'Saladin' Ayubi, thanks uploader. People need to stop hating here, Muslim , Jews or Christians.

  • @TheSamiuzZaman no problem, and I agree !

  • @BestradHD Much respect.

  • @tigerrc221 @cromwell300 ,

you both need to stop, I mean what happened is in the past, if you keep bringing the past we will never get along,

I live in Israel , I am Arabic and a musllim living in Israel, and I have many friends from the Jewish and the Christians , we never bring our religions in our speeches and conversations, Respecting each other is the key of our friendship , you don't have to agree with what I am saying, but you Must respect what I am saying to make me show you my respect

  • Saladin was a muslim I could respect. He fought with honor and respected Christianity. Now they blow themselves up. What has this world come to.

  • @cromwell300 Now they blow them selvs up --> you are refaring to more than 300 million people , and less than 100 guys blew them selves up, and yes they SAY they are musllims, but I can tell you , Islam is against such behaviour its considered suicide and murder to innocent people !

so please, I respect you'r opinion Just wanted to share mine and tell you to not judge all because a little group done such unacceptable action

  • @BestradHD keep in mind I am referring to militant Islam. They majority of militant Islamic groups today resort to terror tactics while fighting, unlike Saladin who fought with honor.

  • @cromwell300 true, but then again, no war these days have been fought with 1 single drop of honor, what are all the wars about ? oil ? gold ? lands ? rocks ? yea Blood turned cheep lately !

  • @BestradHD I respect your opinion but bro resources and land are no longer what wars are fought over. That is the biggest lie created by the media. There is no real reason to conquer land bc colonialism is band. oil is exported from many sites around the world to consumers in many nations. Wars now are fought to preserve regional stability. when you have a region which is stable its much easier for that nation to develop both socially and economically.

  • @cromwell300 Quote: "Wars now are fought to preserve regional stability"

Unquote: So according to your narrow minded IQ, you would go around the world, bombing & invading other unstable "third world countries" because they are simply a territorial threat to your best interests? Even a 7 year old child would know why the US was in Iraq. Tell me Jimmy, "where" were these weapons of mass destruction? & why would you be in a country where the people you are bombing & invading don't want you there?

  • @cromwell300 Democracy in simple is pertaining to the power of the people over their governments. So when the Iraqi people don't want your silly arse there, why would you continue to prosecute & subjugate them?

Tip for the future: Try attacking a nuclear armed nation. Try invading a "non-3rd" world country. Try invading a country without bombing it consistently first or without using the joint aid of other countries. More importantly, try invading a country that is actually at par with the US.

  • @cromwell300 You know why they blow themselves up? Because they have no weapons to fight with, I am referring to the Palestinians. If you gave them weapons to fight off Israel, they wouldn't have to blow themselves up in the first place lol.

  • @tigerrc221 still...count as suicide and its forbidden !

  • @tigerrc221 1st not talking about palestine 2nd when you loose a war to another nation in 6 days you don't deserve to be a nation. 3rd don't go demonizing Israel Palestine struck first in the six day war and they paid the price. sucks for them

  • @cromwell300 Easy to win a war when; a) You bomb the entire country for the first 5 days b) A country the size of California c) A country that was always in political & civil unrest d) A country that disbanded it's army after the gulf war nearly 12 years prior e) Using diplomatic ties with the Shia denominations to wage a combined assault against the Sunni's f) When the only people retaliating against occupation are local unarmed civilians g) A nation that has always been economically unstable.

  • @cromwell300 Moreover it is vital to understand that Iraq was never at par with the US whether economically, geographically or by military might. When the US invaded after bombing the country consistently for the first 5 days (strategically cowardice as they did the same in Afghanistan) it was simply a walk in the park. There were also no uniformed Iraqi troops nor any sort of retaliation besides the civilian led insurgency. Their were only 20 republic guards that could be considered soldiers.

  • @cromwell300 The US invaded on false intelligence. So why would you even compare Iraq to the US? If you wan't a equal challenge, pick on "Russia or China" or a country that is nuclear armed. Bragging about a win over a third world nation is not something to be proud about. Their is a saying, pick a fight with someone your own size & strength. Also the invasion of Iraq constituted as illegal as Saddam disarmed his armed forces ages ago in accordance with the 1991 sanctions placed on his country.

  • @cromwell300 Their was no army to fight with. The only so called combatants you were trying to fight were civilian led insurgency groups consisting of; doctors, lawyers, engineers, laborers, regular working class people you see in the US. If you want a equal challenge, try to invade Russia or China & then we will actually see the extent of your Genocide. The bigger shame is that you have that audacity to brag about a illegal invasion against a already sectarian turmoil bent third world nation.

  • @cromwell300 The media? Don't you know that most, if not all contemporary propaganda is authored by the US? Or that the American government staged the entire 9/11 "kill your own people" drama to use as a capitalistic excuse to invade Iraq & Afghanistan? The media is also responsible to label 1.7 billion people on this planet as "terrorists."

When your house gets bombed flat by the Russian or Chinese Air force, I will sing hallelujah in memory of your ironic selfish-self-pride statements here.

  • @tigerrc221 well seeing as your simply raging at me now let me explain this to you. militarily unstable regions are invaded and the invading force attempts to restore the peace. the fact that you took that as invading every third world country is just ridiculous. Now this theory is not only commonly accepted but also put into practice. Don't believe me go read Ralph Carter's Contemporary Cases in U.S. Foreign Policy.

  • @cromwell300 The US military-industrial complex was "enriched" by profits from munitions and equipment arising from the war and the exigencies of the military occupation itself. Further, when Saddam was deposed and the government was dismantled, this put the oil profits and all the local industries up for grabs, since Iraq was a socialist type dictatorship with much government ownership. I wonder whether Rumsfeld allowed the extensive looting after the fall of Baghdad, it would make more sense.

  • @cromwell300 You must be a ignorant person, who does not fully understand the motives of the pro-capitalistic regime ruling you. But I don't blame you, most Americans are. Seeing you referred to Afghanistan, I have a few pointers for you. It is interesting to note that during the period when Taliban was gaining power, the opium production actually showed a downward trend to a point where in 2001 it was reduced to its a minimum record since 1994. Google it.

  • @tigerrc221 Also I can't take you seriously when you tell me that 9/11 was intentionally planned by our government. Its just not economically sound. Also If your gonna say that we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan because we wanted the oil there that also is a false statement. Iraq would be the only practical mining spot because Afghanistan is for the most part all mountains. Besides that Iraq doesn't have a lot of oil that's Saudi Arabi.

  • @cromwell300 Opium production remains one of the big factors in the invasion of Afghanistan & the decision to overthrow the Taliban. After which, the production of opium surely picked up again & kept rising up beyond previous records. The fact that Pharmaceutical business is the second most profit making industry after oil is no secret & the American government benefited largely from this increased opium production. Did America really care about what the Taliban was doing to its people? Hell No.

  • @tigerrc221 also if we go by your logic wouldn't it be more practical to just invade a country with more oil? I mean Canada has some of the largest oil fields in the world. So by your logic we should be invading Canada because they have oil. Food for thought.

  • @tigerrc221 Finally a few questions for ya. Have you gone to college and if so what was you're major? If you haven't gone to college just shut up now because you're simply spewing the same crap that the liberal and conservative media have been spewing for years. If you you went to college and didn't major or minor in say Political Science or law then again shut up for the same reasons above. If you are a political science major demand a refund because your professor is an idiot.

  • @cromwell300 , I dont understand whats the problem in here,

I honestly believe that musllims are not terrorist and YES some groups and they are not many use the word Islam and they create a dust on peoples eyes making them think Islam is a terror relligion , Islam is a meaning stands for PEACE , so please back to the real subject, if I scan you both , what shall I see ? ur toughs ? no , I would see anatomically identical persons , so please , dont forgete we are all still HUMANS !

  • @BestradHD Listen never once did I say that all muslims are our enemies. I specifically referred to militant islam. I mean those guys are militant against the western world in general. I mean everyone is assuming I'm dissing Islam. I'm not. Hell my original comment was how I respected Saladin, but everybody else has to be a self-righteous asshole and start spewing crap at me. I mean damn this is retarded.

  • @cromwell300 So tell me Jimmy. Who wants to believe that their sending their children into a country so that politicians can profit from the drug trade? Who wants to believe their fiends and comrades are being shot dead and blown to pieces just so fat cats in government can just get fatter. Its sad but true. We live in a day & age when its not popular or politically correct to go against the information spewed from the media or to have a different world view than the Typical "Average American."

  • @cromwell300 By controlling the region & increasing the production of this plant, similar to oil, the American government kept its price reduced & well favorable, with no regards to regional & global effects of such massive opium surplus. Sure the American companies have made billions of dollars, but at the cost of many Afghani, Iranian, Pakistani young men, women& children killed if not others around the world.

The most logical reason for the invasion of these countries by far is imperialism.

  • Comment removed

  • @cromwell300 As for invading Canada? You already tried that, it's called the War of 1812. And It didn't work. Unless you had been living under a rock for the past century, you would know that Canada is the closest of US allies. If the US invaded Canada, not only would you lose Canada as an ally, you would also lose every single British Commonwealth country as an ally, as well as all of NATO. The last time Canada and the U.S. had a spat, Canada won and burned down the White House in the process.

  • @tigerrc221 Well after reading your extremely long response I have concluded you are officially a conspiracy theorist who has no legitimate claims. Therefore since you lack the ability to have an intelligent argument I say good day to you sir.

  • @cromwell300 Canada is already a democratic nation. Canada has a much stronger and a true form of "democracy." Most importantly, almost every country on this planet supports Canada. Canada already provides it's oil to the US, so why would the IQ lacking imperialists still try to invade it?

If Bush and Cheney were running things, then maybe you would have a good chance to invade Canada. But this time, if they do, they would have to make up a really good WMD lie to convince the rest of the world.

  • @cromwell300 and more over, I think what happened on 9/11 is just a SHAME for all humanity , same as Hitler was a big shame for human's history ,

cant we all be at the same page and AGREE that we need a change for the love of god, Religions are for god, to worship him and pray DON'T USE IT for any other stuff, which they are by far DISGUSTING and SELFISH !

you have a brain to think, use it to find a way to like me not to hate me, because it needs a smart guy to love, but HATE ? animals can do.

  • @cromwell300 In any event, the US instigators of the war hoped for a long term colonial type relationship of economic exploitation with Iraq and it is no coincidence that many US officials and their relatives have an interest in the companies which have profited greatly from the Iraq war including Halliburton, Bechtel, Exxon, and Blackwater. This ofcourse keeping aside the benefits of invading and murder that millions of Iraqi's fell victim to. As for the benefits for the Iraqi's? Genocide.

  • @cromwell300 When considering the number of people around the world that use Acetaminophen daily, a pain killer that has Codeine as its main ingredient, the amount cash that is generated from having cheap opium at hand is astronomical. Opium (cheap opium) creates huge profit margins for American pharmaceutical companies.

Truth is Americans don't want to know the truth or wont believe it out of arrogance and ignorance.

  • @cromwell300 Jesus was spoken about in the Quran as much as Mohammed and venerated just the same. "Blow themselves up" better brush up on how the CIA trains foreign operatives.. false flag attacks (Hegelian Dialectic). I have many Muslim friends and everytime i go to one of their homes i am treated better than most of my own family.. they are honest.. don't (can't speak badly about anyone)..and will offer you their last piece of bread to feed you.. people filled with passion and love. wake up.

  • @veritas1031 dude calm the freak down. can you not read i'm talkn about militant islam. Also just bc you know a muslim family does not all of a sudden make you an expert chill the freak out.

  • @veritas1031 The Arabian protocols of hospitality predate Islam just as it does for the Pashtun and many peoples of these regions. However Arabs can give great hospitality and raid their guests the next day. This raiding never effects the hospitality etiquette.

It in not uncommon to have warring factions within the same tribe, clan or family and yet they will sit and break bread.

  • @kybelian I agreee.. but as you've said there are warring factions within cultures.. tribes.. even families. However.. i do have friends she is Syrian and her husband Lebanese and she is muslim.. he is christian but are so enlightened in so many ways that do not let their religions interfere with anything... how beautiful this world would be if everyone were this way.

  • Saladin is one of my greatest hero's. He could have easily wiped out all of the crusaders but was instead merciful upon them.

I have been at his funeral site in Damascus, Syria several times paying my respect for this wonderful man.

Saladin was a Kurd. It deeply saddens me that today the Kurdish people receive such harsh treatment from the Turks and Iraqis.

  • What a respectable man we need more people like him today

  • @MagicalWellecto92 , have FAITH my friend :) ,

I am sure there are people still holding that Kind and Mercy he has showed !

    Faith.

  • I am Hindu, and I must say I respect Saladin as one of the best people to live on earth...

  • @brownpeopleftw22 Good, now stop worship idols :)

  • i see this scene for first time!! however i watch the movie for thousand time ?!

  • Some people forgot the beauty of being a Muslim !

  • @nick1000101 better to say,,, Few who know the Islam as it is for real,,

    even Muslims don't know !

  • @nick1000101 it is truly a beautiful religion.. my best friend invited me to his mosque and couldn't believe how beautiful everthing was.. i had to stay in the back to observe.. but five minutes into the chanting.. you can't help but to cry (because of its mysterious beauty).. i am not a religious person per se.. my only wish would be for all to love or at least respect each other.

  • @veritas1031 my wish aswell, and as you can see 99% of the comments are respectful , so I find some hope in that :)

  • @nick1000101 Well said man.

  • Can someone pls tell me if the song in this video is on movie's sountrack and what is the name of it? Thanks in advance.

  • @soultanos04

    song -

     Luis Delgado - 'Epitaph'

  • @BestradHD I have listen to that song : Luis Delgado - Epitaph for maybe thousand times but this video & the music wich starts from 0:23 seconds is not in that song . . Maybe maybe is other song from the same artist !

P.S. Although that song Epitaph is just a patriotic song for Al-Quds (Jerusalem) indeed it is very powerful and the artist has a beautiful voice and a perfect "tecvid"!

    Selam Alejkum

  • @nick1000101 I believe you'r right !

I will try to find it !! :)

    thnx for telling !

and Peace Be Upon You !

  • @BestradHD

If you find out, please tell me !

    Best Regards

    Nick

  • @nick1000101 ,, I Googled Kingdom of heaven's Soundtracks ,

and I cant find it !! I searched for every track was listed there !

  • @BestradHD Assalamualaikum. I managed to find the track, it is called The nocturnal dawn by Luis Delgado

  • @landak85 peace be upon you, Thank you so much :) , I will google it ,

  • @PrismaMD 1 more thing...

Do not judge a nation for some corrupted group in it :) ,,

Hitler was German ,and he was a BLACK fot of the human history ,do I judge germans for the past? no..

now in musllims ,there are people using the holy book for wrong cases and even wrong ways and not acceptable, these people I DO NOT CALL THEM MUSLIMS, or CHRISTIANS or JEWISH , these are people for 1 purpose, their own , SELFISH !!

I live in a place,,, u might guess where, cause I am surrounded by 3 religions

  • @PrismaMD ok :) ,,, I respect what ur saying ^^ , why you getting angry over a movie ? even if the " story " as you say isnt right ?

you think its bad to show the guy as respectful person ? cause I still cant find whats bothering you :) ... I enjoyed the movie, Loved some parts,;; its a movie to watch and enjoy,, wasnt based on COMPLETE history facts !

now my friend, we living in these times , muslim or not , I dont care for the relligion u are, as long as ur respectfull :) peace my friend

  • @PrismaMD :) , you were there ?

I suppose if you wanna say something , u should back it up :P , cause all people even before this movie was made, knew Saladin as a symbol for justice , and all people knew that Christians back at that time was only going for the gold and shining stuff, as USA now doing :) , peace be upon you :P

  • there is historical false here.the muslim actually don't had any symbol.but the cresent for muslim's symbol was introduced during ottoman empire.

  • @gera8083 its ! " LA ELLAH ELA ALLAH " no god but allah ,

not a symbol , its a writings on arabic

  • @BestradHD its not 'LA ELLAH ELA ALLAH'. its LA ILLA HA ILLALLAH....the last words are joined up :)

  • @MrJubijubidoo thank you :)

  • @BestradHD welcum^^

  • Compare Salahuddin to the modern leaders, there all corrupt and don't deserve the position they have been given, there will be a great leader just like Salahuddin who will come in the future. His name will be Imam Mahdi and when he returns so will the Prophet Isa(Jesus) Peace Be With Them Both.

  • Beautiful scene!

  • The part where he picks up The Cross from the floor and puts it on a table... Respect for Saladin!

  • We should stop thinking and following that "A leader will come one day" mentality

and actually try and be that change and possibly that leader.

  • @MrKakasnack I like what I see,

  • Saladin was a remarkable man for his time and renowned by Muslims and Christians alike for his chivalry.

  • im glad Scott made a great movie . it show the real Muslim way . not the shit the medias wants us to think . of course, there's a lot of extremists, as well the templars was too 1000 years ago . but the real religion(s) are peace . thank you Ridley !

  • He didn't step on the grave but a Christian French General BORO kicked and said "Wakeup Saladin, we are here." As a Muslim I have great respect for this man and I pray more Saladins born in our ummah. Ameen

  • Comment removed

  • I don't remember this scene, but my goodness is it powerful

  • at the end both of them lost this city... and netanyahu wins

  • @TheMoonlight2006 lol, I am not so sure about that , caus no body claim Jerusalem his , no body dares tho ,

you might see Israel and its Capital is Jerusalem ,but all the embassies are on Tel-Aviv , Jerusalem remains till this day , MAN FREE , no body will rule it, and no body should, caus its for 3 religions, no body has the right to destroy any STONE in that holy land, just because " WE THINK A TREASURE ARE UNDERNEATH IT "

thats all I have to say

  • @Seiketsuuu I believe in such a Leader will come one day , its only a matter of time !

  • @BestradHD

That leader was Ahmad Shah Massoud.

    youtube.com/watch?v=fnGqUPxVG0k

  • Where's the part where he picks the fallen cross up off the floor!? Thats one of my favorite parts!

  • @Mizukage6 ya, I like that scene too , but its not on this scene , that 1 you asking for shows earlier in the movie ...

  • @BestradHD Do you take requests? :)

  • @Mizukage6 if I can asnwer it, then NO PROBLEM !

  • @BestradHD Alright could you upload the scene where Saladin picks up the cross? There is also a scene where Saladin is talking to his apprentice about Balion, and asks him why he didn't kill him. His apprentice reponds "perhaps I should have had a different teacher?" The second is my favorite scene. I hope these requests aren't too much trouble but thank you!

  • @Mizukage6 sure m8 :) , no problem , I will add both scenes on same video and Upload to YouTube , it should be here by tomorow 11 pm , caus I am going to another country , travel and my laptop will be with me ;-) , as soon I get my foot down I will Upload it,

  • I didn't know that was a grave!? I thought Saladin was just avoiding stepping on the Cross. Either way Saladin is bad ass!

  • Chivalry, respect, honour... Truly a knight, and one that doesn't need a shining armour !

  • @GamerElite1000 even tho , I didnt understand where you going with this m8,

but , RESPECT is gained and earned , NO man can force you to respect him, Fear is different from respecting another person for what he is and what he stands for , hope you know what I'm on about

  • @GamerElite1000 Am an Irish catholic but respect Salahin more just because he was older and wiser and humane,

  • Lool why do u guys spell it Saladin, when it should be spelled like this Salahhudeen.... (how it's properly pronounced)

  • @adam29e ok.....

if you want to fix...fix properly ,

    Salahu Eldin Al Ayobe !

  • this actor was really good in this film as Saladin

  • @Elfan4 all actors done a perfect job to make a wonderful film

  • when he avoid stepping on Balwin's grave... quite the emotion comes up.

  • @P00PD0G89 I would say, its shows respect , more than it shows emotions , but : ) might work both ways

  • @P00PD0G89 Even though they had different view points, they were friends, even if no one saw he still respected his own enemies.

  • I am not a Muslim, But I have the greatest respect for Saladin.

  • @rsmovielord , you dont have to be or say what is you're religion to respect man kind , respect humanity , respect GOD !

in the end , all religions has the same purpose !
