Also they aren't to picky of there fighters, I mean they have the diaz brothers and they picked up babalu after he choked out a guy when he wasn't supposed to. If he stays on a streak I think this would realistically happen what do you think?
You know I have a hard time giving Josh any credit. Yes I know he can easily kick my ass, and I probably will never accomplish half of what he has in his life, but I have never been caught with steroids. The fact that he has makes me wonder how much credit he can actually receive for his past accomplishments, when there are other fighters who also have done great, all naturally. Too be truthful, I really can't put him in my personal top favorites because of the damn roids.
Josh beat Big Nog, as far as i'm concerned (TWICE). Their second fight he was ROBBED by the American judges when Pride came to the US. Watch it and see if you don't agree.
I'm a huge Cro Cop fan but he totally should have lost that decision in the rematch with Josh. Another sketch Pride decision, kind of like the Ricco/Nog decision only not as blatant.
The judging in Pride diddnt score takedowns like they are scored in the US, see the Igor vs Mark Kerr fights, Mirko vs Fujita, the first two rounds of Fedor vs Arona also probably would have been treated differently in the US. For example when Mirko fought Fujita it seems his sprawls earned him as much as a takedown by Fujita, he also landed more powerful knees from the sprawl than the strikes Fujita was landing in mount position. Laying on someone doesnt put them away I think is the reasoning
There are a lot of rumors going around that we will see Barnett/Fedor at Dream 13 after the breakdown of Fedor's April match with Werdum in Strikeforce. Barnett's already signed to fight on the card and Vadim's been saying that Fedor wants to fight Barnett more than anyone.
