A suggestion; Look into the current law for "legal loopholes" Classifying your Doberman as a "WORKING DOG" will allow you to have a Cropped and Docked Doberman. "WORKING" can be defined as GUARD DOG for family and home; or VOLUNTEER dog- in terms of having your dog visit a seniors home, underprivileged children etc.... If I lived in a country with such a SILLY, tree-hugging law I would do everything i could to get the dog the way I wanted. Good Luck- CHEERS
Yes....the first two dobes we adopted had their ears cropped and they recommended the cup. It is very lightweight so they do not know it's even there. A small amount of paper tape works best as you do not want to use the kind that is so sticky--it pulls hair. Our newest boy used only those huge Swabs made by IPA tools and they actually worked the best. We only had to keep them posted for 4 weeks!
