But if everything happens simultaneously, then how is it not done yet? How can you "stretch the zero interval"? Zero is zero. You can't increase or decrease nothing - it's as low/high as it's going to get.
Oh come on...people are so judgmental on Youtube. They're probably laughing because of a recognition of how utterly simple, obvious, and amazing all this is. That's why the Buddah is often shown laughing. It's the laugh of recognition of what is. You almost can't help but laugh. It's a joyful recognition of all the pieces coming together.
if the external world doesnt have its own existence but only "made up existence" it exists only in relation to the mind. Now a question arises which mind would that be. Or am I to say that the world would cease to exist once my body died? Maybe it is a mistake to separate themind and the world.Maybe the world IS the mind. That way the world and mind are of the same quality. Jesus says that we are not of the world. We are not the mind derived from this world... :-)
"Perturbations in the absolute". How can this be understood without relating to the very notions of space, time and matter that he tries to exorcise? My feeling is that he is taking away too much, and there would be no language even possible in which we could describe whatever is there outside consciousness.
He says "whatever it is" and talks about "action". YAWWWNNNNNNN. I can't imagine paying to listen to this guy, PURE TORTURE. No bedrock reality, just some cool ass crib notes on this and that and some slippery logic and poetic expression. I DO LOVE all that, but this guy is NOT an authority on reality. I might consider tutoring him, but he seems to think he has "GOT IT". He talks about what "the mystics experience" like someone from another world than mystics...
according to parallel universe's theories we exist in many places at the same time, and relatively many times in the same place, so maybe every time and space we visited we are there right now, in the way we are in many places and times at once, so maybe we are in past, present and future, (space-time) right now.
I believe light is a phenomneon of an invisible form of consiousness that sends signals to other objects and collects the information then returns with all the information like a whale sending signals to find other whales, the lights not coming to us, we go out and collect the light
@ 3:32 "Pure consciousness that the mystic experiences is just like light" In the twin-photon experiment by Dr. Nicolas Gisin of the University of Geneva there was a timeless action found connecting the photons of light. Faster than light action, quantum entanglement. Einstein said it was spooky action at a distance. The action was timeless, thus time had a value of zero. Einstein said nothing could go faster than light. This action or timeless consciousness did. 5*'s
Yeah, they laugh like a bunch of Victorian aristocrats at a cocktail party. They clearly have little more than a passing notion of the what is being said, lol.
@dvarvaro Yeah, but sadly, neither does the speaker. It goes WAY deeper than he is covering. I hope for his sake that HE does go deeper when he has an appropriate audience (such as himself when he is alone, thinking).
ok, but how do you explain this to a mother driving her children to school, who is a victim a a driveby shooting incident. She did not construct that physicality. Or to a person walking out of a department store just as a piano falls from 3 stories above and squishes him flat as a pancake, he did not construct that physicality. these physicalities were already constructed., so, as much as I like this theory, it seems to leave something out, not sure what. any ideas please reply, cheers
if he didnt constructed it then the piano wouldnt fall.
the thing is "cause and effect".
when all people will take responsibility for their thoughts all will be clear. now people even blame others for their own made mistakes.. so still we are journeying till awareness of little puny ego expands to "i am world" awareness and then the real life will be experienced.
In his "Tractatus" Ludwig Wittgenstein states, "I am my world," which blew me away the first time I heard it but I never fully understood what he meant by it until recently.
@vmv5813 they caused it to happen with there mind, i know its hard to believe but just ponder on it for a while, don't you ever get thoughts in your head that you don't want to think about but yet, you still do? you are causing those thoughts to stay in your head, and even unconscious thoughts, affect your outside reality, and its not unconscious, as in they happen without your knowledge when you sleep, there unconscious, in a sense that you do not consciously realize you are thinking that.
consciousness creates time and space, therefor does light not know time and space, light is not aware of travelling because there exists no separation in time and space
@2013andBeyonD NO!!! out of the question. then people will be putting it on justin beiber videos and twilight trailers. i refuse to see the day where people rate that crap higher than this illuminating lecture.

@katehown I believe he means, when we stretch the zero, we stretch our perception of it so we can make sense of it.

Yes wittgenstein is pretty remarkable but he actually turned away from his original theories from the Tractatus, in his later works.

How can light "not know time" but a photon be an identical unit of action, when action is a product of energy and time?
love2dsign4u 3 years ago
action can be achieved without time, watch again he says there are two ways it can be reached.
