I don't dig Strat tones in particular the n/m combo , i can stand the m/b combo... but it really makes me use all the 5 positions, i love the n/b combo... i did the mod on my G&L Legacy and my 3 Peavey Raptors, did a couple of vids using my purple Reactor ... can't live a guitarist's life without the n/b combo. Really simple to do, i wonder why telecasters still sell , lol
@2009korte - if you don't want to sacrifice the neck/middle sound but still want a Tele tone - install a 'Megaswitch E model' available from Stewart MacDonald - it gives you 1:bridge, 2:bridge/middle, 3:bridge/neck, 4:middle/neck 5:neck - you sacrifice middle pup only selection but hey-ho 4 out of 5 aint bad.
Awesome! I have a mim tele, and I tend to play it more than my Strat because I like the neck/bridge combo much better than the neck/middle, I will be doing this mod on my CV Strat asap! Now I can have the whammy bar plus my favorite Tele sound in one Guitar. Thanks!
How does this affect the tone control for the middle pickup? I am doing your mod but want to use the tone knob for the bridge instead. Does this automatically change that or do I have to move another wire? Thanks for the video!

@benjamdaw yes, this mod will automatically add the tone knob to the bridge pickup circuit.

@MaricKici - your right - the 'Translate Audio' button doesn't work well at all, so I've included an instruction in the detail :)
