Actually, Hofner basses were originally meant to play Jazz and Blues tunes, thats why it gets such a raw sound. Great job on the playing though. :)

@iabssplyr no ones gonna confuse you for a guitar player because you're using a pick... yeah it gives you a different, (some might say better) tone and you can play the bass more traditionally with fingers, but lots of people play the bass with a pick. its all whatever.
