I am an ex-sda, I dont have faith in EGW and I reject her as a prophet and true teacher, and I don't have SDA membership.

Yet I am a Sabbath keeping Christian, and I do love Jesus with all my heart and might and I do have sincere faith in Jesus to be my personal Lord and Saviour and I do trust in Jesus' blood to wash away my sins.

So tell me, according to Ellen, SDA and you, am I saved today or lost? If lost, then tell me, what must I DO to avoid getting the Mark of the Beast and be saved?

@EvangelistEvan we should be careful not to judge others....only God can judge you so no one can tell if you are saved or lost....as long as you are alive you have hope of being saved, God looks upon the heart and if you sincerely love him you will keep his commandments and he is just to save you like he promised in the Bible, its all about our relationship with God, if your life is truly surrendered to him the fruits will show...that's my opinion....God Bless!!

XXYforLIFE Fellow Christian, when on doubt of THOUSANDS of Bible teachings, all you need to REMEMBER is the story of CAIN & ABEL!! Cain with ALL his "GOOD INTENTIONS&PURPOSE DRIVEN" sacrifice before God, was NOT accepted by God Himself! Why?? Because what God COMMANDED both of THEM, only Abel OBEYED God! wow! that was one sermon i'll never forget! thank u for that pastor doug! really enjoyed it. i grew up as a seventh day adventist all my life and i still can be ignorant about y sda is sda. the more i seek for the truth the better i know and the better i feel about God. I do understand that not all sda's are really sda's, pastor doug is right. Salvation depends on oneself, not even a church will save u. it helps, but it all depends on ur love for God first and foremost. This goes for me too. :)

I get a lot of this but what about 1 samuel 28? it's possible that samuel's soul was "sleeping" as the pastor says but that doesnt stop him from the possibility of communication. So what he says about the devil deceiving people through false spiritual communication doesnt seem like it really applies.

And why doesn't the so-called 'word of God' in Timothy say "and for all knowledge in biology, chemistry, physics, history, and genetics." ? Those being major areas of knowledge where the bible people fall terribly short of understanding, but then attempt to apply their ignorance using their book that isn't about those things, to those things.

I can tell you the truth, God exists, but you won't find examples of him/her in any book by wo/men. All men in all religions are all corrupt and all women too, of course. All don't do what the book they claim tells them what to do, they all pick and choose the bits the like and don't like, profess godliness, act in ungodly ways, and condemn all who don't follow their exact teaching. There is no "good" faith, no "good" church, no "good" person when such claim their goodness from their books.

I reject the Catholic interpretation of the Bible and Salvation that says there is 3Gods, or One God ETERNALLY EXISTENT as 3 persons ....

I reject the Trinity, and the Lie that Almighty will allow an apostasy such as the Trinity to be accepted as Truth ....

@timothylocklear I can't say God is 3 person's but I can say He is working as 3 different characters when relating to salvation. Chronicles and revelations say that the Spirit of the Lord runs to and fro into all the earth. Hebrews says Jesus our High priest sits in heaven and intercedes for us. wow. Jesus while on earth said it was His father in Him that does these works(miracles) So the work of the Godhead is evident. The different positions. just like your a father and someone's son and uncle

@timothylocklear "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). So with this explanation here this includes Jesus Christ if he wasn't indeed divine. But we know that in his lifetime he never sinned so he was divinely sent, although he went through the same temptations we went through he had the strength of the holy spirit and divine purpose to resist the Devil. Ebionism

The Ebionites were a very early Jewish sect who maintained that the Logos was not preexistent. Jesus was a mere man who perfectly kept the Law of Moses. He was the Messiah,but in no sense was He divine. He was born to Joseph and Mary in a normal fashion,but had the Spirit of God descend on Him in a special way at His baptism in reward of His perfect obedience to the Mosaic Law. @timothylocklear How is it anti bible when genesis records "let US make man in our image" who is us? now the bible through colossians calls it the Godhead bodily. Jesus always made a distinction between Him and the Father. psalms 2 confirms this. The H/S is written about in John 14. Also Isaiah 9 calls Immanuel(Jesus) Almighty God.Revelations, John see's Jesus and what does Jesus say, "I am the alpha and the omega" what Bible are you reading guy and who do you represent?

@timothylocklear The word trinity is not in the bible but the Godhead is. The Godhead consists of the father son and H/S. in 1john or so the bible says there is 3 that agree in heaven, look it up. Also it's important to understand that God became 3 distinc character according to matthew 28:19 simply for the work of salvation. God is to Holy for us to approach you can read the account in exodus with moses. God sent Jesus so His blood can redeem us but the H/S brings us to God's throne room
