@shnimmuc Simple: Both run at the same rate, Add the "load", there's the icing on the cake. *Protosound stuffs very easy in ANY lash-up (or "anything" else) :-)
@TommyZTrains lol sorry well you know how in O gauge the sound is automatically in the engine, in some ho models you have to put the sound in yourself with speakers and computerchips called decoders. you have them in o scale too but most of the companies put them in ur trains instead of selling them seperatly in your two steam engines the sound they have is actually the same as some of the broadway limited steam engines
@TommyZTrains IC .,.. These have a "sound chip" (early design were not "writable") and the "sound-set came from that (that's what these engines have) ... Protosound by "QSI".
Oh man Tom I don't know how you can have all that beautiful stuff and not play with it I sure hope everything is ok with you. I wish you the best Bro and cannot wait for some more videos your a rock star in my house man and that's no Sh@t the whole family enjoys the videos. Thank you for posting them
Ok Tom the Hell with it I'm just going to ask you want to adopt a brother lol I wouldn't be much trouble I'd just set up a cot in the layout room lol you may have to beat me with a stick to get the DCS remote back but other than that I'd be no trouble lol
@viper1976xxx I'd do that ! * " I'm dam flattered you think so highly of it all" ! I tell ya, I haven't turned Trains on in a good long time, I'td be good if you did run-en Vipe !
@poopologist96 No "real reason" for any of it ... I was just messing around and "Pete" ...wanted to see some Steam action.... Like I said at 1:25... If I have to run Steam... I have to run em like a Diesel lash up!
Your correct on "oil tenders" and no reason their either...
The whistle at 3:12 almost sounds like an SP 6 chime which would never be on either of these locomotives. Although that kind of whistle sounds good on any engine model or real. Really cool shots and angles in this vid.
Nice Video! Love the Challengers and Big Boys! My main favorite in your collection is your Great Northern 4-8-4 pulling the Empire Builder. I would love to see a video of that pulling through and stopping at one of your many stations! Nice Job!
Thanks again Tom. I love it. Two beastly engines working hard. you're too nice making these videos for a steamcrazed teenager like me. I love it. Interesting how you doubleheaded them like diesels.
Once again another Awesome video!!! Tom, I am seriously running out words to describe how SWEET your set up is......All I can say is that it ROCKS just like you!!!
How do you get proto I locomotives to lash up?
