I'm pretty sure that i'm the only person here who dislikes this guitar, but for me it sucked. In fact my friend put it on Ebay for sale because he didn't like it either. A 1960 V.O.S. @iloveclassicrock1000 prs is one of the best ... you can have great guitars and bad guitars but noone has the best guitar ... prs can be just as good as gibson and vise versa but gibson will let many horrible guitars into the public due to easy quality control where as prs has extremely strict quality control ... i love both guitars and own some gibsons but if i where to choose i would choose prs anytime because i know what im getting

Yes, but they've started to make quite a few models dedicated to slash. Epiphone Slash Signature, Epiphone Slash Signature Goldtop, Gibson Slash Signature, Gibson Slash Signature Goldtop, and this one :) That makes five signature models for one guitarist. Even if you don't count the Epiphones, three is still quite a number of signature models for one player.

Actually the les paul is a custom guitar in the first place, in the same way that the slash guitar is. It was made for "Les Paul" the guitar player by Gibson not made by Les paul :)

The Les Paul was not really a custom guitar, Gibson and Les Paul set down together to create/design a new guitar, which should carry Les Paul´s name, but should be manufactured as a new modell of gibson.
