Ive went through my stages of Punk Rock when i was young, then to rap, back to rock, etc. But.... Sid Viscious is the man. I cant hate on him. He was un-intelligent, rude, a drugg adduct.but People take life to seriously. Listen to this song. Punk rock at its finest.

sid vicious was a talentless hang-on. he couldnt play bass, he didnt even play on their record. most of the time at shows, his bass wasnt even plugged in. sid was in the scene for an image. thats all he was. leave the music to real musicians like Johnny Thunders!

sid could play listen to the sweden gigs and later gigs he could play quite well he didnt play on record cuz he was in hospital but he did play on a couple of demos and he tried to better himself on bass but the band never turned up to practices now remember the band could play before sid joined sid had to learn from scratch they didnt really give him a chance then complained when he didnt get it right on stage , live was the only time he had time to learn with the band

People who call fans of the post 'Californication' Chili Peppers posers, and say they prefer their old music, cos apparently its more 'genuine' - how the fuck do they know?! I love Sid as well. However,Johnny Rotten WAS the Pistols. Lets not forget, Sid Vicious couldn't play the Bass for shit.He got brought on because he was Johns Mate .Rumor has it, he wasn't even playing on stage 1/2 the time. But i agree, kid had a fucked up life.Those old enough to have actually been around when the Pistols were fucking it up, would know all this. i have yet to see anyone with Rotten's energy on stage. Now all of u go PISS OFF!

why the hate against sid? i don`t get that. sid had a very tragic life, from the very beginning. it wasn`t his fault he has a heroin/speed addict for a mother, who was more a buddy to him, than a parent. sid was just a kid when he joined the sex pistols, and he wasn`t equipped to handle how huge the sex pistols were, at all. that wasn`t his fault, that`s just how it was. what you can clearly tell about sid, from video clips of him, is that he had a very sweet spirit and a kind soul. don`t hate!!

Steve and Paul knocked about at Sex (Malc's shop). A young lad would occasionally browse the shop. He stood out to them due to his bizarre physical appearance, his horrible teeth and his clothing, including the famous "I hate Pink Floyd" jacket".
