chelly78207.proactive did much worse to me, to do dermabrassion its best done once ur acne is cleared up, ur surgeon will tell u that, seek a dermatologist ask for Accutane along with Benzi-clin and once ur finished n clear then u can do ur dermabrassion, (for crater or ice pick scars) also use a anti-bacterial cleaner and toner,try not to touch ur face, as for make up is concerned wait till ur acne is clear,never put make up over ur acne as it can irritate it or make it worse.good luck
This is why I prefer natural countermeasures for acne. What I use is "lavender oil". It's easy to apply: take a Q-tip, put it in the lavender oil, spread the oil around the acne spots, and do it twice a day. Some thing to NOT do however: do not touch your face with your hands (the oil on your hands take the lavender oil off of your face), and do NOT handle the lavender with your hands (It will reduce the effect of the lavender oil). I've been using Neutrogena products and they work better than what I was using, which was Aveeno. I hope you find something that works for you!

I am glad proactive worked for you. It didn't do anything for me and I have to be on very expensive birth control and anti bacterial pills to keep mine under control. Your lucky cause proactive is pretty cheap compared to most meds people pay for.

proactive did work for me used it since age 16 going foward im now 22 and i stoped using it and i did break out like whiteheads painfull ones but you know you have to be patient if it worked for you stick with it and i know i will but know im adding olive oil to my skin which haves good benefits and your face don't look as bad just use olive oil primer and makeup will recommend neurtrogena acne foundation but ive been using proactive for years and people were jelous of my skin so you know

Try useing alovera cream to help the burning im currently useing proactive teenage packege im 17 n its helping alot with my black heads n pimples the refining mask really help to make poors smaller you should ask about it
