Can you use a microphone and use this for your voice? Also...what is the longest delay setting? In other words, can you say a word, such as the word "DANGER!" and hear the entire word repeated after you say it, or just the last syllable? Thanks so much.

@IwshIcldstrtover if you get an adapter to plug in a microphone into a 1/4 plug, then i dont see why you couldnt use it

@IwshIcldstrtover most microphones by themselves won't work plug and play with a guitar pedal (impedance mismatch, basically you won't be able to hear anything). you'll probably need a DI box and use it in reverse

this pedal is very finnicky with any other adapter other than the one thats included... but when used with the correct adapter it's one of the most beautiful analog delays i've ever owned or played.

i treated myself to a spontaneous guitar center trip today . this was my treat .i have an ibanez ad-202 , the carbon copy , a boss dd-2 and a dod dfx 9 . this pedal brought something different in .. if you dont have any e/h delay already i would recomend this pedal ..

this pedal is ridiculous, you cannot imagine the hours your going to lose with all the combinations of square/triangle wave forms and vib/vib+chorus/chorus. this is a solid modulation pedal nevermind the delay possibilities. its hard to get a "pretty" sound but who cares, this thing is fun

oh and i use a live wire solutions LWs21 universal latching foot switch in the EXP PEDAL. its basically a channel changer for an amp, but it will run the functions, its a bit cleaner than using an exp pedal and stretching the notes during live performances

No. Analog will make those sounds when you alter the rate. You'll want a digital delay for that. Although you probably won't be altering the rate that much mid song so you could avoid all of those effects by leaving it alone.

The EHX Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai is a digital delay, making it far more versatile. However, it lacks the expression pedal input that the Memory Boy has and the level of degradation of the analog delay repeats. I would recommend getting both. Just know that with the Hazarai, you can make your guitar sound like a sitar or a steel drum. AMAZING UNIT, that SMMH!!!

As I can see... to control the delay time, you just have to plug in the exp. pedal... or if you want to control the rate of modulation (leaving the delay time in a desired position), you have to turn the switch to "exp. pedal"... very cool pedal BTW... I think I'm ordering one before buying the Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai...

When you use the expression pedal you should have the delay maxed out or the rate so that you get full control of the pedal from the expression pedal. also make sure that if you use a pedal such as the moog ep-2 to have it volume control maxed for best effect and least glitching...

Cool, finally a decent demo! Predictably it seems darker than the DMM but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The square wave mode is quite wacky!
