Maybe it's just (camcorder) mic placement, but I'd sure like the phone mic can come down a good 10 db -- love the Howlin' Wolf effect and the real-analog of it, though. I've been messing around on more open tunings and slide (cmbined with non-slide, as you d0) lately, but you dive way deeper, you've got actual technique. (nothing much posted here showing what I've got, though.)
This is very similar to my old airline man! Mine only has the one magic pickup at the bridge and is a gorgeous sunburst. i will upload a vid of her real soon.
i made a telephones microphones too.
