Yeh, I dunno why it wouldn't turn off. It's worked on EVERY TV I've tried it on before that, even the big massive plasma screens through the windows in CurrysDigital in Cardiff.
Maybe it was to do with your filming lights messing with the tiny sensor inside it or something. Then again it can take up to 54 seconds to turn certain makes of TV off so maybe I just had to wait. =)
@AstraVex dude, the light were facing away from u and the tv, and u was trying for 10 minutes to get it to turn and it didnt, just accept it dude, it doesnt work on all tvs
@AstraVex Dude...the thing plainly doesn't turn off all TV's. Not based on this example, but it's just not possible. There are new signals/codes being used by TV's every day, and this thing was invented a while back, so it may not be fully updated with new codes, the one you got. There's nothing wrong with that. It still turns off the VAST majority of TV's ^^

Whatever, Maybe it's just dodgy with certain makes of Tv. Because what's odd is, your TV was an LG and I've turned off 2 LG tv's before. o_O
