  • not unless you think stupid people are a race.

  • Gives new meaning to the term "bird brain"

  • Come on guys!

    Is a asiatic crow!!!

  • I wanna be a crow when I grow up and evolve...

  • I still dont like the Ravens

    That was great though

  • i just hate how EVERY christian has to flaunt their dumb beliefs on the internet and on EVERY youtube video..... their entire belief is silly enough as it is and then they push it farther by arguing in the video comments... if you are religious the least you can do is KEEP IT TO YOURSELF. you can be all faithful to your "lord" at church and what not but in the real world and the internet we stick to facts and serious scientific theories. we live in a scientific world. we don't need make believe.

  • @CroixAllard i think crows are a lovely animal. i'm just glad to know that there are other animals that have the ability to think a bit like we do. they are beautiful and intelligent and i would love to have one as an animal companion. and although the common raven/crow is not a legal pet, white necked ravens and pied crows are. they are both magnificently intelligent and have a pretty splash of white feathers on their necks/chests. truly marvelous birds. to give one love and a home is my dream.

  • And before you know it,they have 'em in parlament....

  • The scientists are now debating if crows are smarter than chimps. If a crow hides food and there is another crow that sees it, after the other crow has flown, he finds a new hiding place for the food. This video also shows how smart they are at problem solving.

  • LOL I love his little hop off the sidewalk when the light turns green

  • the most amazing bird species in the whole world. It amazes me their intelligence everyday I see them.

  • Oh my goodness. makes me nervious. I love crows & ravens.

  • crows will dominate the world :o

  • of course the smartest crows are asian -.-

  • Well that does it. I want a pet crow

  • i love crows so much

  • that crow is a daredevil for crossing the highway

  • wow..... they really are smart....

  • i love how instead of flying over to get the bits, it walks along with the people, like it's trying to blend in.

  • "Dropping nuts from large heights"

My ex-girlfriend can do that to

  • When I was a tiny kid my dad handed me and my brother each a bb gun and said, "Don't shoot robins" (Michigan state bird). So we looked at each other and went down a horrible path of shooting birds for "fun." If only that mindless fool had talked to us about respecting God's creatures and maybe taken us to a library to learn about them or taught us how to photograph or draw them, I wouldn't be having the flashbacks I have of these sensitive, smart, beautiful creatures dying horribly at my hands!!

  • @guyNbluejeans you monster!!

  • as far as ive seen crows are the only strong and naturally smart animal. out there theese days. all other animals are just food :P

  • this is probably the only good thing nature got out of us.

  • @TheSpiralHill probably

  • AND he waits for the walk sign to light up? damn, that bird is hella smart lol.

  • LOL it uses the cross-walk! xD crows are smart...

  • fuck the ad

  • my mind has been blown

  • Smarter than a lot of people who don't know how to wait for the green light before crossing.

  • Crows, Owls and Geese (captial letter due to them being godlike) are the most intelligent, clever and wise creatures on the planet. :)

  • @shairaptor - actually, I read somewhere that owls aren't that bright. But corvens (crows and ravens) are very good problem solvers.

  • Dude, they actually wait for the light to change. Thats crazy.

  • Humans are so ignorant to think they are superior to animals. Throw an unarmed human into the wilderness and see how long they last.

  • @liquidyou Humans are superior to animals.

  • @saxy1425 That is the mentality that continues to enable humans to destroy the world we live in. No, we are not superior, once the human species becomes extinct because of all the damage we cause to our natural resources, we will no longer exist. Who do you think will be left, once the world heals itself over? Do you really believe humans are at the forefront? You are mistaken. Our "superior" ability to reason has actually crippled us. We don't reason and that makes us inferior.

  • @liquidyou You are naive. Humans are superior. Do you think we're the only creature on this planet that leaves a negative imprint on the world?. Tell me good sir about Locusts or a simple virus. Are you telling me that the multitude of complex cells that compose a human are on the same level as a single cell being? If you are then you and I have a different opinion on what makes something superior.

Humans are incredibly resilient and incredibly intelligent. It's why we're dominant (on land).

  • @saxy1425 That is one of the weakest arguments I have ever heard. What a sorry and sad way to excuse the deliberate and malicious effects humans have not only on this world, but on each other. Humans are the only species who will deliberatly cause harm to our natural resources, not for self support but for self interest. I'm not an environmentalist or a "tree hugger" nice misuse of the attempted offense though. And what you consider nothing more than a "simple cell" is what we stem from.

  • @liquidyou What makes something superior to another? What are your standards? Clearly, from what you've said, your definition of "superior" revolves around the impact a species leaves on it's environment. Also, the factors of motivation have been brought in to question. If this was also my definition of superiority I would certainly have to agree with you. However, my opinion goes slightly deeper than the idealistic and naive opinion of an individual filled with self-contempt.

  • @saxy1425 Actually, it doesn't revolve around the impact humans have on the Earth, you seem to have forgotten my initial statement which revolved around the fact that humans have adapted to the comforts of our egotism and would be unable to compete with wildlife. But of course, your focus was easily shifted. And as far as your hypocritical notions about slandering go, perhaps it would benefit you not to call another person naive and full of self contempt if you really feel that way.

  • @saxy1425 Or my, how much bullshit.

Not because it is a unicellular to be less complex than we are. There are zillions of bacteria whose adaptive strategy is more complex and requires a chain of reactions and nutrients that our system more complex organic told ourselves as superior

  • @liquidyou I believe what makes humans superior to animals are the complex and noteworthy achievements we have hanging on our wall of history. Our music, mathematics, physics, architecture, many different languages...ect. I could go on for quite a while. My point, that humans are superior to animals, has always been reliant on these positive(sometimes terrific) and amazing things. I can see how difficult that could be for someone who can only see a world of hate and destruction, like you.

  • @liquidyou not, music don´t make us superior, mathematic too, physics... make us flexibility,, make us with our feature...

But like us sing for a public or for a god, or for a partner, very other animals make signals for a public of their group, for a submisson of a one big leader or for their partner, but in their cognitivis or phylogenétic ways

  • @saxy1425

Indeed the superiority is nothing more than an animal print Homo sapiens. There is nothing written in the natural elements, the physical laws, ... that we are superior.

  • We only have endowed the characteristics that madeus survive certain environmental pressures thus becoming adaptive, and one of these characteristics is our behavioral flexibility. But many other animals have similar adaptive power, like ants, beetles, mice, whales ... However, other animals whose cognitive quality resembles much our but not so adaptive flexibility, as is the case with chimpanzees and gorillas compared to ants and roaches.

  • @liquidyou I do have a question. You said, " Our 'superior' ability to reason has actually crippled us. We don't reason and that makes us inferior."

If our reasoning is crippling us then how are we inferior by "not reasoning??" You are ignorant.... Idealistic and ignorant of reality.

I watched your video on the UCLA blonde bimbo. You said you can't stand ignorant people. Well, I can't stand hypocrites. You're idealism blinds you from your own sense of reason. Go hug a treeeeeeeeeeee, hippy.

  • @saxy1425 I like that you pointed out what I said. It shows me you didn't catch my point which was what I expected. Our superiority stems from the so-called fact that we can reason, however our reasoning is misguided. I am sorry you needed a "reasonable" explanation of my statement. Thanks for proving my point about the misuse of reasoning.

  • @liquidyou I knew exactly what you were trying to say. I was clearly poking fun at how the wording of your statement was redundant. To quote, this is one of the weakest counterarguments I've ever heard. A retort filled with slander and attacks on my "argument", where your statements reflect nothing but further ignorance that is ever so prevalent in your character. You missed the basic root and soul of my argument. "...you and I have a different opinion on what makes something superior"

  • @saxy1425 Thanks for taking the time out to check out *my* video. Maybe I'll make you relevant one day and post one about you, but for now, you don't seem interesting enough to do so. Have a good day ; )

  • this is just nuts !

  • no wonder u see so many smart dead crows and ravens in the street

  • @chizoioioi

I never seen a run over crow and there are quite a lot where I live. Maybe the ones where you live are sick in the head.

  • @myez Same, I've NEVER seen a dead raven...or any bird for that matter as road kill. You only seem them hovering over the roadkill.

  • I don't know anything about crows but I would love to read an article about this green light thing. The crow almost gets run over at the end and I can't see a green light at that time ;)

  • Bird Brain^.^

  • enjoy your fake fasntasy facts. they are not 100 % accure you can dream that. they are not evan 10 % sure. i can explain everything but not everybody can handle the truth

  • Hahaa genius !

    I love birds ^

  • TROLOLOLOLOL

  • everyday i watch less video's cause of the fucking ad's

  • @swedoj2 me too. YT begins to suck! when there are more ads before videos than ad-free vids, many users including me are going to drop out of youtube. ;)

  • @shairaptor

Yeah, but the problem is that unless more then 30% drops out, YouTube won't give a shit.

Cause one thing for sure, YT(Google actually) is making serious money.

    A little to serious.

  • @swedoj2 yes. I liked google when they had their tiny little search engine. now everybody hates google because they try to take over the (internet)world, which really sucks, how did they manage this? I ignore facebook and twitter for now, as long as it's possible ;) but google and youtube is inevitable ;)

  • crows kick assss.. fuck religion

  • Great! We've covered "christian" vs. "atheist". It's nice to see our species represented so well under a video about the intelligence of crows.

Personally, I'd rather read a debate between Zoroastrianism and auto mechanics while watching a video about rabid squirrels! Maybe the winner could go on to face Godzilla in the semi-finals!

    GOOD LUCK!

  • Wow, smarter than Ray Lewis!

  • they are noisy and annoying. We have a family of ravens that sit in a tree in our garden making all kinds of noise then they land on the roof and we can hear them scrambling around.

  • Animals are capable of learning, it is just overlooked most of the time by human observation.

  • This is a great video worth watching. And crows are much smarter than we humans give credit for.

How could anyone give a "thumbs down" dislike rating for this video?

  • Most humans would cry for mommy if a tool to open a nut wasn't available. It's pretty cool to see logic being used and the quick development of adaptability by the crow. I always noticed when I feed seagulls how crows would sneak around the back to get my attention. They're sneaky. :)

  • 7 people gave this a thumbs down because the bird has a higher IQ than they do.

  • @Viktir666 i totally agree and also have you noticed how since your comment 7 months ago no one else has given it a thumbs down.

  • @daniellewis91 LOL you're right! They're scared it's true. It can only get thumbs up now.

  • @Viktir666 Well give them credit for hitting the button. :D

  • We coming for master

  • they even make humans crash into glass doors

  • is this the bird from the windex commercial

  • so clever

  • HHahah this is proof that evolution theory is bullshit . that raven don't needed millions of years to solve that nut problem

  • @kutkinderen you obviously don't know anything about the evolution theory.

going back to your bible won't help it.

  • @GogetaSSJ4BR You think you know everything but every idiot can learn evolution theory and use them against christiaans it's just so easy don't you think

  • @kutkinderen I hope you were that kind of idiot who can learn evolution theory. Instead, you are the "proud ignorant" kind of idiot.

  • @kutkinderen its funny ..imagine now how stupid religion should be to fall victim to idiots who know evolution theory ..

Christians have no defence they are idiotic easy targets for every debate.

  • @tilemacro Ouch dude, calling a group of people idiots for a belief is sorta racist. It hurts when people call me an idiot.

  • @kutkinderen Fuck u

  • @kutkinderen Um, no, but they needed to evolve problem solving brains to be able to do this. If it were god that gave crows the ability to crack open these nuts in the future when cars were created, they why not give the ability to all birds, and not just crows? Or why not make the nuts just easier to open to begin with?

  • @kutkinderen Theres a difference between learning and evolving. But you wouldn't know that because logic isn't required to be a Christian.

  • @VideoDracula hahah for Atheist its soo easy tto attack Christiaans you think you are smart but you just copy what is written in a book that is supported by the government its just a theory and there are soo many faults in it. Dont you get that government wants to create Atheism just like communists did to have more controle over the people

  • @kutkinderen

Athiesm is nothing like communism. In fact if you believe in evolution (which is a scientific FACT (unlike your 'master')) you actually support variation and differentiation. It's not a theory. You must be mentally retarded if you think the government is anti-Christian, as almost EVERY government leader supports the church and is Christian themselves.

Oh, and there are many faults in evolution?

    Name some then.

  • @kutkinderen duuuuuuuuuuh you can change from specie but you cant change type

  • @kutkinderen The same argument can be made about religion, just saying.. :)

  • @kutkinderen OMG! You REALLY don't know what you're talking about, don't you? A book supported by the government? (The Bible maybe?) And compare Atheism with Communism is just ridiculous. I don't know, why post such a retarded comment in a video of a beautiful and amazing animal? ENJOY the wonders of our world.

  • @kutkinderen @VideoDracula - Come on children, play nice now.

  • @kutkinderen This actually proves that evolution is true, not the other way around.

  • @tatumcricket noo again we can only change to an other specie not to an othere type of organism like an fish that can be a monkey afther milliioooooooooons of bullshit years

  • These crows are extra smart because they are Japanese.

  • I lived in Fairbanks, Alaska, and I would watch the ravens do this same thing at the intersection next to where I worked. Ravens are beautiful and intelligent birds and it's amazing to watch them and see how they learn to solve problems.

  • Esse corvo vai se dar bem com a Lola!

  • @doctrice que Lola, a loira da vodka? hahahauheuaeh!!!

  • Every1 loves nuts! =)

  • سبحان الله

  • I rave about ravens!

  • wow, smarter than most humans!!! lol!

  • @Thedorpli At the very least, republicans....

  • cool...:oD

  • i dont get why so many people hate them. same situation with seagulls. there's about five of them that come to my house and we always feed them cheese, bread, and nuts :)

  • @oDREAMERRo because people are stupid they want good looking birds and think the raven is depressive, dark, loud and annoying. I think ravens are a piece of gothic beauty. They're fascinating and mysterious. Plus crows show feats of above average intelligence in the animal kingdom. That's also enough for me for wanting one. Not in a cage though, i'd like one wandering in my garden / house.

  • on dira que les animaux sont pas brillant...

  • woohhoooo

  • sick

  • YOU HAVE GOT!! TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?

  • thats the smartest crow/raven ever...i like it

  • that's so raven

  • That was amazing!!

Next time these little bastards wake me from my sleep, i won't be wishing i owned a gun, i'll just appreciate that they're probably planning something very clever.

  • @teyzar

    LMAO

its like you start a war with the ravens LOL

make like a documentary....a scary one like Blair Witch Project bahahahaha!

  • NO WAY!! THATS WAAAY TOO SMART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUDE it even walks along the sidewalk with the people LOL

  • @nddlj i've saw stray dogs crossing the road on the sidewalk :D true story

  • brilliant

  • AHAHHHHA UR JOKING... incredible

  • People who think crows are evil because they're black are just racist.

  • !!! love

  • See, even Asian Crows are smart! Lol jk

  • That fuckin' raven makes me look like an idiot.

  • hahaha they are so smart it's hilarious

  • They're one of the few animals that know they are looking at themselves when they see their reflection in a mirror. Even dogs don't have this ability. They have also been known to construct simple tools in experiments. Crows and ravens are the smartest of all birds and they are some of the smartest of all animals.

  • That is so funny!

How can they be so amusingly smart! These birds deserve a big medal for obeying the DMV rules! Look how they wait for the green lights! LOL!

  • that's incredible.

  • Smarter than a lot of humans.

  • @BlakByte

    i could not agree more

  • LOL. 'Hey you're not a ped, you're a crow!'

  • wow now thats smart

  • WOW this is unbelieveable I never knew crows were so imtelligent!

  • This is EXACTLY like what I've witnessed when I was waiting for the bus a while ago. When the first passing car missed the nut the crow put the nut a feet away to the side for another attempt, very successfully. Crafty little bastards! I love them!

  • I love the way they plunge from the sky... *_*

  • Dave Attenborough is my hero.

  • Clever bastard! XD

  • Even my 16 year old sister woudln't think of this. Very smart.

  • Forget the chicken! It should be "Why did the CROW cross the road?"!

I always knew they were smart birds, and this just proves it. :)

  • If a crow crosses the road, then they aren't very smart. You know, he could have flown over the road.

  • @Einchy1 Why not? The guy said that the crow waited for the light to stop the traffic. That sounds smart to me.

  • I was joking. :/

  • @Einchy1 Ah, I see. Can't really tell over the net, y'know? :)

  • thats cute

  • Seems like an awful lot of trouble for a few bits of walnut...

  • walnuts are damn tasty tho

  • They're so amazing <3 ! And you can teach them to talk, just like you can with a parrot.

  • I kind of want one as a pet now :(

  • that is almost scary smart!

  • Why doesn't the crow just go and get a nutcracker? Geeeeez!

  • I LOVE CROWS! We have loads near our house and I love them, they just rule the skies!

  • Unbelievable ... :)

  • Ionce had a pet Crow that talked and even though he eventually went wild he always came back for a visit and spoke human words for many years after surprising all who witnessed the rare occasion, crows have eyes similar to humans thats why they can look you in the eyes ! thanks for the video !

  • OMG, that's amazing, I never knew they were that smart, they're like little people. If they ever figure out how to clean windscreens, they'll have it made!

  • This is how all the walnuts end up in the driveway!

  • attenborough ftw!

  • hahaha whata... very nice.

  • Green light means food is ready.

  • lol!

  • Super video. I saved it to my favorites. 5 *****

  • O____O

    SHOCK!!!!

    crows are so frikinnnnnnnn1!! smarts!!!

  • Raven is one of the smartest animals, bar dolphins

  • I heard from someone who knew a person raising a crow that was injured and nursed to health. they said it had its own room and would collect objects on top of the door frame and it made a habit of unplugging the telephone cords.

  • Comment removed

  • wow, thats absolutely amazing.Oh, how I love crows and ravens, they are so beautiful and intelligent...

  • at the end, the bird was "fuck! I'm still eating here damnit"

  • wow that is friking sick!

  • Wow, that's amazing! I always loved crows. :D

  • I love crows & ravens, they get a bad rap, but I think they're so fascinating!

  • @millardforever

i agree! u always see them i horror films...sometimes fly over the people just to be annoying...

but i LOVE hearing the caw of a raven/crow....its kinda melancholic and mysterious and dark, i love it...it's better than the annoying chirp of these damn robins we have up here in Ontario,,GOD i hate robins...

  • @nddlj Yeah there is lesser raven/crow and jays in Ontario now. Like two years ago I still see many of them in Toronto parks, but especially this year, they are all gone.

  • @millardforever they eat kittens!

  • i love ravens.....someday ill own one!!!
