It's NOT smart for blacks to waste votes on someone who has no chance of winning. Voting for McKinney as great as she is, is ignorant of voting and irresponsible. Voting for McKinney will take votes away from Obama thus leading McCain to a straight victory. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! Voting for McKinney so late in the game will hurt us more than help us. We should raise her up in 2012 not now. McCain will win for sure if we use our votes on her and not on the one of us who can win--which is OBAMA-2008!
FYI......Prof Griff is not col with Flavor Flav. He stated that in a recent interview on Blogtalkradio with Chief Liberation about his stance on that Coon mofo.
Yo! I shop there for lecture DVDs and books... Peace to DelhiFlint for opening that jewel in the heart of Clayton County. Hotep brother! See you next week.
obama is just another politician running on ego, not running to serve the people in a democratic fashion (i.e. by the people for the people). obama is a tool of the power structure. the democratic party gave us hilary & obama, 2 conservatives with indistinguishable platforms to make the people FEEL that there was a choice and a democratic process taking place. but these people represent the corporate power structure that owns political campaigns, the corrupted government, and control the media.
So now it's looks like Barack time at U of Chicago has paid off and the elite is going to give him the presidency barring no more surprises. I am not happy about it especially after his vote on the Fisa bill.
Barack is a white man with tan who has stolen the legacy of the descendants of West African slaves.... This is our legacy! But I hope when he rolls over and sees his black, descendant of west african slaves wifethat he does not screw us over to badly.
Lately I have been wondering about Barack myself. I remember Barack ran against Bobby Rush!!! Former Black Panther and hero in the CHI! I was so glad that Bobby beat the crap out of him in the election.
Everybody was like Barack who? We couldn't even pronounce his name and why would want to run against a former BP.
What does Proff Griff's friendship with Flav got to do w/what he is saying? Prof Grif is speaking the truth! I have always been a big fan. And I am glad to see that he is still around.
It does detract a bit from the message he makes. It's worth it to listen though. BTW, this isn't my video, and I am not savvy enough to mess with it. :(
Yea, it's true the music takes away. Maybe if it was a volume level or two lower it could be kept and actually add the convrsation. A vote for Cynthia wouldn't be wasted, not if people wake up about the corporate parties (and realize that Nader is payed off by their officials as much as he pretends to protest them) and take a shot for justice. All the Green Party needs is 5% to become an official party next time! That would be the best change for the future and insurance against corruption later
These videos are informative but why is the music ALWAYS so loud. You have trouble hearing the conversation because of the sound track. Good to see Griff is still on it. Hotep
Sorry, one final thing. Even though of COURSE my first two comments would seem to be rendered invalid by the fact that McKinney is black, female, and actually stands up to the current power structure much more than Obama, she also has no shot in hell of winning given the campaign machines of the other candidates. Hence, a vote for McKinney is regrettably a very wasted vote. See the electoral process for what it is and act accordingly.
Oh... and OMG OMG first second and third comments, I'm soooo cool, LOL! Don't ya just HATE that? If we had a candidate running on the platform of banning people who do the "first" tag on YouTube, I would TOTALLY support their candidacy 100% (in spite of the redundancy), even if they also happened to advocate cannibalism (provided that only the people who posted "first!" were to be marked for consumption).
Besides, sometimes what people THINK someone represents can be more powerful than what they ACTUALLY stand for. If we get a leader who can bring people together and make us think that they are a symbol of the triumph of the values of diversity and equal oportunity in this country (even if in reality that is total crap), sometimes the fantasy itself can have value. I believe this is one of those cases.
Griff is right that Obama doesn't REALLY represent radical change, but no electable candidate ever does. The fact of the matter is that Republican agendas have hurt the poor and middle class far more than Democratic ones over the past 30 years. I'm no great lover of ol' Bill Clinton, believe me, but compared to Bush...well, you get the idea. Hence, since we don't have any real choice, Obama all the way! Now is not the time to quibble and potentially make things even worse.
can you upload this without the music please im having a hard time hearing what hes saying and understanding

I don't support Prof Griff because he is associated with Flavor Flav.

I hear what you're saying. I was never a big Flavor Flav fan. He was the comedy relief of PE, now he is just a tool. Griff is his own man, though.
