Wait so you are storing energy in capacitors for quick charging then using them like batteries to run electric motors in vehicles?

Why aren't car companies doing this?

@alastair78 they are, but ultracaps aren't perfected yet, one company says they will release an electric car using them this year.

@alastair78 They don't want to sell super caps because they are 1. expensive compaired to batteries in performance and 2. they last forever so they can't sell you replacement batteries

@MrMcDugan That's bullcrap. The reason they're not popular yet, is because they're extremely expensive. Would you pay $10k for a capacitor bike? There are capacitor flashlights already available, but they're expensive. There was no conspiracy keeping the computers slow until this year, or keeping the floppy disk popular for years; we needed better technology, and we made it happen, but it took a while. Same with capacitors, you'll have your choice in 10 years, more than likely!
