  • Hello Sir, i'm working in my final project ''Avocado'' :-))) i studied horticulture in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki inGreece, i agree with u about proper pollination and big fruits in this very small (new)trees.. But how we can keep our tree in small height for more Intensity culture.. for years?.. and still produce good quality big fruits? I'm asking that because i think avocados are tip-flowering (mostly) and maby pruning its no so good for keep the trees small??

    -Thank you! :-)

  • @panasen500 Ask avocadosource

  • can you do a grafting/budding demonstration so that we can learn how to get these small trees that mature early rather than having to use seedlings only? people aren't usually too happy about the idea of teaching the art of grafting because with that knowledge we won't be purchasing as many trees from the nurseries.

A local nursery here does classes weekly on different topics, and I asked if they ever do propagation classes. They said no, & that I can buy trees there that are grafted! lol

  • @Alina674 Thanks for the question. I do teach grafting as a formal course in several institutions. Where are you?
